I suck because i actually tried to help the guy? Unstead of being a douche to him. People are new and need help. I can understand if you think the way i typed it sucked or what not. But seriously?

i still use the jea from time to time, seems to have died in the forums though. and read the stickies in this section

read the original chad's gap thread. find it from google. that's the first thing i did once i got here, it is a large piece of ns history

The Foul creature of which he speaks is one of the worst things to happen to this forum; known simply as "Jennifa" No one knows the exact origins of this she-beast but legend has it she shares lineage with satan. you will instantly recognize her in any thread as being the worst. just the worst.

Don't listen to most of the people on this site, here's some kind of a dictionary

Afterbang: Riding away all calm after a well performef trick. Tom Wallisch is probably the Best 'afterbanger' these days. Try Google him and watch some edits with him on youtube.

Frontside/Backside: In skiing frontside and backside are used to describe the way the skis are positioned when sliding on an object. For example, if a skier jumps on to slide a rail with the tips facing away from the side you jumped on from, the skier is doing a frontside slide. Their whole body will be facing away from the setoff point.

A backside is much the same, although when the skier jumps on, they will be landing with their tips pointing at the point where you took off.

Grab: Grabbing the skis while performing a trick. Could be a safety grab where you grab with your right hand under the right ski binding if you left left, and opposite if you spin right.

Kicker: Another word for a jump, mostly used by freestyle skiers.

Lip: The top of the kicker

Steeze: Origins from skateboarding. Mixture of style and ease.

Sweet Spot: The best place to land from a kicker. It's in the

middle of the landing, and is what you should aim for when hitting a jump.

Switch: Skiing backward, or hitting

a jump backwards. Example: switch 540. A trick Where You spin 540 degrees stæying

backwards.

I hope this was explained well, just write to me if theres something You don't

understand or want to know
