I'm thinking of going there sunday. Hows the setup. How many and what rails are up and jumps too. is it good or bad?

Well.. it's not like it is built now wating till Saturday.

Expect 20 - 30 rails up to 40' long and what some refer to as "T" boxes. - there are no curved jibs.

there were 3 jumps each with 3 take offs 20 - 45 feet. with the weather forecasted for the weekend it should be as good if not better than anything that was there this winter. There were nothing but rave reviews.

Rebuilding will be thurs/friday night -

Here is a really well written review from Today referencing last weekend.

so after wanting to go to big boulder i finally go to go last weekend. and since i am very bored i thought i would write a review.

Things I liked:

The plaza

the jumps

everything was decently maintained

some fun down rails

and nice long boxes

everything was fun

Stuff I disliked:

that red down rail could be amazing but it was setup so stupidly. No gaps to a down. make it urban style with a WIDE lip.

everything was a little sticky. but not that bad really

some of the lips to rails weren't to wide.

but overall it was the funniest place i have ridden this year. and i have gone to a lot of different east coast resorts. and it was fun. a good place to learn tricks. i would say the parks where better than okemo and killington with out a doubt.

and also has anyone hit those rails by the parking lot. a few of them looked prime

East Coast Power House

Man I wasn't feelin' them at all. Maybe cuz I hit the first one and got buck bucked on my first hit. Then again maybe its cuz I was having trouble holding onto my poles. I was also real disappointed in the lack of trick hoes that I had heard might be there. Oh well, maybe this weekend???

the landings are only a problem cuz the lips are so big, If they kept the steepness the same but pushed more snow up on the knuckle of the landing so that its not as much of a step down it would help so much

Ian keeps telling me that he talked to so-and-so and that they said, they the landings are good. Apparently, you guys are not telling Ian directly, what you think. Nips put it best when he was complaining to me, "I don't want Ian to hate me"

C'mon guys..... I hear it all the time, I see the landings comparitively and I know that they are not as steep as they should be. Park Crew thinks they have it dialed because when they ask you how things are, you guys say "great".
