Whats our Soul Purpose?

So me and a couple of friends were talking about why do we go to school isnt there a better thing you could do with your life and i wonder what do you think that better thing is?
 
haha there's a TGR movie called Soul Purpose

mine would be to devote my life to living well and trying to create world peace while still maintaining my other activites like skiing!

and become more religious
 
well the point of going to school is to put ourselves in the position of having as many options open as possible, so we can be successful and do what we enjoy doing, for the most part.
 
hahaha, no shit. i think thats why "Soul Purpose" is in caps in the thread name, and why he chosew those words. it wasnt just coinsidence.

but i think what ConceptPro153 said was prety accurate

i think finding your soul purpose just happens, it may be anything. mostly when you find your soul purpose you are completely at peace with the world and all internal conflicts are resolved. you are in a state of pure nirvana. in otherwords you probably just had sex.

school is just a filtration system for the class pyramid, to seperate those who want to work like they've been conditioned, or to break from the constraints and find out what's really worth living for.
 
this is pointless...

none of you would be able to afford skiing if ur parents hadnt gone to school to get an education, to eventually raise a family with unappreciative little runts such as...oh i dunno.doing things, such as skiing, requires alot of money, and getting that money requires, yeah you guessed it education. you could be a ski bum thats an exception, but then you're stuck couch surfing or sleeping in your car.
 
i dont know why you would say isnt there anything better then shcool, obviously there is, but where else are you going to get a higher education.

other purposes consist of skiing and to live
 
you know, skiing is the soul purpose of many people on this website but unfortunatly for many they dont go any where with skiing, so school is the back up for all the people(myself) who most likly wont go anywhere in skiing.

But stay in school, it gets better at the end! Also College is awesome! Well it is in the UK anyway.
 
everything is backwards. you spend the prime years of your life slaving away in school and struggling to make your own money. once you start making your own money and become financially secure, your prime has passed you by. once you can afford it, you're too old to enjoy a heli trip to AK the same way you would have enjoyed it when you were 20 years old.
 
well you need an education to understand the politics and economie in this world, you need to know mathmatics when faced with a number of situations, and socila studes helps you learn from the past i dont think school should be a good 12 years of our lives, but its important
 
so ski bum and have fun while you're young and make more money when you're older. Chances are good it'll save you a mid-life crisis.

stay in school to get to a good college to get a good job to make money to be able to pay for high class skiing, good food, and w.e else

and chicks would rather bang someone who makes a good amount of money compared to some ski bum fuck
 
ya we go to school so we can do stuff like skiing and we have fun cause we learn what we got from school if there was no school we couldnt talk and we wouldnt be as fit cause of like gym and stuff so we really do depend on skiing and also we would have on friends name like 10 friends that you havent meet at school taht you hang out with all the time i have like a few but they were cause i met them at the ski hill
