What's on your mind - Ladies edition

I've written 6 different cover letters/ applications to this bitch over the last 4 years, and now I'm writing two more and I cant bring myself to spew out any more BS. This is pointless I want a beer.

I thought about that, but I haven't changed it in months.. I wash all of my clothes in the same no-fragrance stuff, but I'm wondering if it maybe got concentrated on that piece and didn't get rinsed enough last wash.

Or maybe I'm just allergic to the world
 
I bought a pair of new 2014 Mary Jane Full Tilts for $200 because of awesome bargaining skills. Now I'm constantly waiting for the mailman until they arrive so I can replace my old ones, and I'm hoping that today's the day!

I work with the most jaded, angry, crass, dirty minded and un-politically correct people and I wouldn't have it any other way. This work week has been really fun.

tahoe's amazing but the lack of snow is utterly depressing. drains the soul and wallet. I left after last season because it got so bad. just a word of caution. low snow = low economy.

with that said, Squaw is my favorite mountain I've ever skied. Would move back to the valley 10/10 if it started snowing there again.

was thinking about it last night, this is the first january in years I've seen accumulating snow fall (in VT now), and that's sad. global warming and warm ocean temps... :(

That's our problem right now. We don't have any snow on Mt Hood and since the community is like...20 people, there's just no work. I would spend my whole time skiing but I can't really afford to... ya feel me? This sucks. Maybe it's time to move back to Minnesota..noooo

what direction i want to follow in the future is on my mind lately. and i'm really uncertain about what's a right fit, and i think i could maybe be successful on all fronts of each, i'm just not sure.

This just made me sooo happy. Your energy passed through the internet. How bitchin is that?!
 
It finally happened. The "grab tab" on my line poles refused to ungrab my ski, resulting in me ditching that pole mid air. Thankfully no one was following close behind me, and a kind snowboarder who saw the whole thing happen brought me my pole which was 30 feet uphill from me in not a safe place to hike up to.

I grabbed toxic and pulled my ski forward to get that nice X in the air but my leg was fighting that unnatural angle the whole time so when I let go my ski was moving into the crook of the tab not away like it would when releasing a safety.

Lesson; beware grab tabs and remove your pole straps if you haven't already. I cringe to think about what would've happened had I been strapped to my poles.
 
im employed wheeeee finally have a school schedule that allows it and its gonna be niiiiice once i get my NS paycheck AND other paychecks wheee
 
Guys... it's been like 2 years since I tried anything in the park and today I went in, on my own accord, without anyone to film, and I hit something. Did I suck? Hell yeah! I so fucking rusty. But I did it and I was the only one hiking, in the pouring ass rain. So I'm gonna say that's an accomplishment, and call it a day. I feel great.

yeeeeee! This makes me super happy

I dislocated my knee real bad two weekends ago and I know I should give it more time to heal but FUCK I JUST WANT TO SKI SO BAD and there's been so much shit on NS lately getting me riled up and even more motivated to go fuck shit up in the park but guhhh my knee! What if I'm afraid to hit stuff now? What if I hurt it even worse? What if I've lose all the progression I've made this year? The season's almost over and I've got so much left in me. I'm starting to panic.

same. i'm riding better than ever this year and been playing more and having way more fun, plus i beat my top speed from last year! and then i busted my knee two weekends ago... i'm too stubborn for a doctor, praying it gets better so i can ski again, but i think i'm gonna have to sack it up and go make an appt. now i know why people go crazy when they get injured mid season.
