I was just thinking about how I only know a handful of pink names and that there are apparently quite a few I've never even seen post around or anything and I'm about to know ALL OF YOU and I'm REALLY EXCITED ABOUT IT

The plethora of posts I've made since this forum came into existence shows how excited I am, but seriously. I'm way more excited about NS than I've ever been.
 
I feel the same amount of excitement as you ladies! It's kinda shitty that we had to get our own form just so ladies would feel comfortable enough to post. Regardless, I'm glad it's here. I couldn't be more happy about it!

when exactly was it created? I haven't been logged on for a few days now and I didn't see it before so it was a happy surprise. or did it exist before and I was just too stupid to notice? :)

ah, nice to hear I haven't missed much then. whose idea was it? best thing to happen at NS in a looooong time. now I may even start posting instead of just lurking, haha. :)

Im happy it happened too, I kind of had a feeling it was going on though, with the more frequent discussions in the forums lately about how much shit girl skiers take (not only on NS but girls in general I guess). I'm stoked more and more people open their eyes towards the everyday sexism that we face in society, yet its a long way to go. That Freeskiier image feature kind of illustrated that.

on my mind today: trying to stay PMA about my school work. Not going so good.

Something about adding some type of pinknames section/tag has been in discussion for a while but this thread got the ball rolling officially at the beginning of the month after we opened up discussion about treatment of females in the sport/ on our site.

I'm so happy we have this forum. Honestly, it's so cool to see all you guys. I've seen a lot of you guys on the main forums already, but a lot of you guys I haven't. And I'm really happy to see you guys around!! Ahhh! It's just so cool to see that there are girls in this sport and you guys are rad as fuck. Like, it's just so awesome. There aren't ANY girls who ski as like "their sport" in my area. It's either volleyball or softball or something like that. I just really love you guys because you love skiing as much as I do. Stay steezy Lg.

I'm super loved up too. I feel...reinvigorated.

Trying to explain to my friends what life is like now that lady gabber exists is so unsatisfying because they never understand. I'm from Sydney so there are NO skiers here at all. Most people havnt even seen snow. I'm like a weird outsider.
 
Just looked at myself in the mirror for the first time after taking a nap before work and arriving to work. Dyed my hair blue this weekend and forgot that it is now necessary to put it back before sleepy time and half my face is green. Fuck me.

I know vaseline helps if you put it on before. I have no idea what will get it off lol

Maybe try a super pale foundation? Add some darker on top and see if that covers it? - I don't know much about make up but this would be my best guess at fixing it haha

I feel ya. World Civ test tuesday, Calc test tuesday, eve bio test(with the hardest professor at ub) on friday. If I make it through the week without a mental break down, I will be extremely surprised.
