Lexan is ideal, i think HDPE or soemthing is good too.

lexan works great- pick it up at the harware store real cheap- and check the searchbar

you actually could use wood- 2x4's but you's need to way them and stuff just right- i've seen it done- but try lexan- you could maybe even get some at the junkyard for cheap- peace

yeah its wood, and the pieces kinda click together so i made a rectangle of it and stuck it on these 2 end tables i found then just screwed it down.

you can seriously grind anything, i plank of wood with wax on it will be smooth
