What's more annoying for the end of the season?

WELL ITS BETTER TO HAVE SNOW AND THE LIFTS GO DOWN BECAUSE YOU CAN STILL DO URBAN AND SKIING WITHOUT LIFTS BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE SNOW WELL JUST SUCKS

Yeah it sucks because my hill still has snow but the lift is shut down and a day after the park closed they took all the rails out and flatend the jump so we couldnt go hit it

its way worse when they close with snow. like killington almost closed bear down when the next day they got 2 feet of freshies. good thing they didnt though

people saying Ahh finally when the snow melts... most annoying shit ever. or ahh snow makes me depressed. ya no shit u stay at home all day douche.

here is a simple solution.....first get your ski gear together, get in a car, drive to your hill, put some skins on your skis, or in your boots, and start hiking, go down the hill. Then Repeat!

having snow after the lift shuts.

happened here.

best feeling though is knowing that your second to last day of the home season was powder and then going to whister for a week, powder for 3 days makes things ok

yeah, not having snow is way worse, i just got back from my hill where i set up a rail on the 50 foot by 50 foot patch of snow that is remaining, so just be happy you still have snow and get up there an hike

How about having snow and having the lifts close down anyways? Kicking horse....base = 2.5 m at midstation, and they shut down on APR. 8th, snubbing all the locals and pass holders. SO SO gay.

same here..

Actually what is worse is this post towards me on another forum.

"Papasteeze.....on behalf of many people let me say.....that you have NO idea what the f*ck you are talking about. Stop acting like the god of skiing. You have zero idea as to what is involved in operating a successful ski area. On a side note, everytime I see you somewhere you are running your mouth...not skiing. I see you take one or two runs then click out of your skis and start flapping your gums. Grow up. Quit living vicariously through your kids. Ski when you can, where you can...and stop stop your continuous unfounded bitching."

I "bitched" at them for not staying open for as long as possible due to no advertising (lack of ticket sales). Our home mountain has a sick park and on top of that it is unheard of to be open in April. I bet they will still have top to bottom coverage 2 weeks from now. Don't get me wrong. I am grateful that they stayed open longer than anyone else. Just not grateful that they didn't do much to capitalize on the post season.

actually leaving for south africa right before spring skiing starts (it was like march 7) is a pretty shitty end to a season. south africa is sick though

having tons of snow but then breaking your hand and wrist and not being able to ski or play baseball for a few months
