Post what you carry in your bag when you go out.

I have-

Canon T1i

18-55 Kit Lens

Go Pro-With Mounts

Cords and Extra Batteries

I know simple, but it gets the job down. So, whats in your bag?

1 extra Sony NEX-FS100 battery

filming gloves

uv filters, polarizers, ND filters, manuals, lens cleaning kits, remotes, cables, etc.

I was thinking this at first, but then i realized that a lot of people don't take everything they ahve with them when they film. but i do

they're those POW Photog gloves where the tips of the fingers fold back so you have more dexterity. i like them a lot, and they double as warm glove liners. obviously they're not necessary in the summer but i always leave them in my camera bag.

Body, UWA, Fisheye, Mid-range zoom, 80-200 are always in there for skiing or hiking.

remotes, stands and strobes and battery are in a separate backpack for urban or park shooting (depending on the day)

300mm, skins, shovel, probe, lens cloth and an extra pair of goggles are in there for the BC or powder shooting in general.

When I'm not shooting skiing, it really varies upon what I need.

Sometimes I'll bring a film body or my TLR for the fun of it as well. That's always a good time!

that's why you gotta be strapped. A pocket knife in your bag isn't as accessible, or effective as a .40 subcompact on your waist.

think about how things could have turned out differently for level 1 if decker had a glock 23 in his pocket.

cameras:

canon 7D

canon t2i

sometimes canon xha1

Lenses:

canon 50mm f1.8

canon 50mm f 1.4

canon 70-200 f4

canon 15-85

glidecam hd 1000

tripod with hdv 701 head

glidetrack

intervalometers

lots of extra batteries, uv filters, VarNDs, batterygrip, SDcards

I also have a dolly, but not in my camerabag

thats exactly what i was thinking TWoods, especially if your level 1 and carrying a few cameras and have around 10k in gear.

in my dakine sequence backpack:canon t2i, 2 extra batteries, manfrotto tripod, rig, filters, canon 24mm, canon kit lens 18-55, canon 70-200 fL, cleaning shit, ziplock baggies and rubberbands, goproHD. idk thats it i think

Can't wait for every photographer to be strapped whenever they go out and shoot haha I actually keep my butterfly knife in my camera bag. Never had to use it but you never know when you will either. I've almost forgot it was in there a few times before going into venues haha

the only problem with being strapped or carrying a gun is if your shooting urban and you get busted by the cops for being on the rail, then u have some problems with a glock on ur belt without a CCW

fuck tha police.

naw just kidding. Haha yea... that would certainly complicate things if you got busted.
