What's happening on Hood?

I'm sick of waiting for snow here at Bachelor and wanna make a trip up to Hood. What's running at Timberline these days? And what might be the cheapest way to ski the park? Would just the Magic Mile ticket get me up to the park to hike?
 
Check my trip report from last Monday for a list of the features - it has probably not changed much since then. Unfortunately, they will not let you ride up the Mile Skyride with skis, so you would either have to hike to the Palmer or find someone with a pass to carry your skis up the lift. My brother and I hiked to the Palmer all summer, and it is not a bad walk - I would guess it will take somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour to walk up the paved path to the Silcox hut - which is right by the park on the lower Palmer.

Powder-weasel and I will be there doing our old guy gaping the park routine tomorrow - hit us up if you come to ride.
 
Is it still summer passes? And I'm lookin at comin up on Tuesday and dirtbagging from my car for... however long. Like a week or maybe more. Maybe just a few days. Wingin it, really.
 
We have been riding on our Fusion passes since September 15. I think the daily is still $38. I hiked from the parking lot to the Palmer all summer and would highly recommend it if you are fit and trying to go on a budget.

Fuck the auto industry bailout, how about a no snow bailout for all the west coast ski areas. Then we can just let the kids ride for free!
