Might be moving to the area in a few years. Tried to find a thread on this but they’re all over a decade old…. So whats the park scene like there nowadays? Any good recent videos from jiminy?

Not the best spot in the area but they always try to have a few things set up at least. You’ll be happier making the trip to butternut or mt snow for park skiing.

west mountain is wayyyy better!!!1! Massive parks, rails always waxed up and greased, and zero dope snow jerry kids!

Where in the area are you moving? Western MA, Capitol Region, somewhere in between? Carinthia might be less than an hour away depending on where you plan on living.

Jiminy Peak had a fairly legit park scene in the mid 2000s but it's fallen off pretty hard from what I've heard. It's been years since I've skied Jiminy though, so I have no first hand knowledge.

Bousquet is now the place to be in the Berkshires. The new management/park crew has easily built the best park in MA/CT this year. I hear it's been popping off at night. Their instagram is @yokunparks I believe.

I’ve been thinking about moving to NW mass like in the North Adams area…I really want to live up in Vermont closer to the Montpelier area but I don’t want to be too far from my family in PA so i figured NW Mass would be a good compromise. My thought is I could hit up Carinthia on the weekends and have a smaller mountain with night skiing closer by for in the evenings after work. Bousquet looks like they got some fun setups though, def would make some trips there too

Yeah man, NW Mass is a great area. Tons to do year-round and nice people. You described a nice sweet spot where you can night shred with the locals and cruise to VT on weekends.

Honestly, I don't have enough good things to say about the area if you're into the outdoors. The two variables are finding decent employment and reasonable housing. If you can solve those two, you're golden.

Its awesome just go somewhere else to chase powder they groom every inch of the place aggressively.

Probably the #1 terrain that is lit up at night in New England. Fast lifts good vertical drop. Don't remember the park.
