What’s for breakfast?

Lyft is a far superior way to start the day. I usually buy the regular freeze x strong but my favorite flavor is called tokyo zing which is like lemon and ginger or something. Not always in stock cause it's seasonal I think.

I either make eggs and toast or a smoothie. For the smoothie I use one apple, a frozen banana, a scoop of whey powder, a few chocolate chips, a glob of peanut butter and some oat milk. Fucking slaps and I can drink it while driving to work.

For eggs and toast I do regular sunnyside with homemade toast from my bread maker, strawberry rhubarb jam that my mom makes and some butter.

Also have a Breville espresso machine. Always make an iced espresso with some oat milk regardless of weather. Tastes damn good and is a lot faster to make than coffee.

I live in the American Gardens building on West 81st Street, on the 11th floor.

My name is Patrick Bateman.

I'm 27 years old.

I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine.

In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches.

I can do a thousand now.

After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion.

In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser.

Then a honey-almond bodyscrub.

And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub.

Then I apply an herb mint facial masque,

which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.

I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol,

because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older.

Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman.

Some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me.

Only an entity-- something illusory.

And though I can hide my cold gaze...

and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours...

and maybe you can even sense our life styles are probably comparable,

I simply am not there.

Vyvanse is a hell of a drug

Breakfast is the same every day. 4 shots of high quality espresso and at least 8 oz of cold water. Pop a tbsp of I can't believe it's not butter into the pan. Crack 4 eggs in. Cover with seasoning. Scramble in the pan or flip for over mediums, depending on what I'm feeling. Sometimes I make a piece of toast or two. Get a bowl of assorted fruit.

Doesn't matter if "breakfast" is at 7 am or or 3 pm it's always the same. Sundays I make French toast tho

Bacon, yellow onion, jalapeños, green onion, cream cheese, olives, peppercini, cheddar omelets topped with spicy guacamole

Breakfast literally translates to 'Morning Rice' where I live

...so Rice. Usually with some Miso soup. Sometimes I'll also make some sausage with it. And Tea.

But often I do my normal thing and eat fresh fruit with granola and/or toast with avocado and/or bacon and a caramel latte or black tea.

I rush out the door with a cup of coffee and convince myself I can wait until lunch because I oversleep and have unhealthy eating habits. I think it's a pretty good system but my doctor and therapist say otherwise

Not for many more years they won't.

I was rushing out the door with a pot of coffee in me, a pot in my thermos (which was drained quickly) and grabbing lunch at a regular time. (plowing snow, start at 430, grab food at 12)

if you eat healthy and plan what you're going to eat, it's not unhealthy.

putting no thought into your diet will get you into a shitty situation, regardless of what you're doing.

I make a shake every morning.

2 eggs, frozen fruit, hemp powder, turmeric, yogurt, milk and spinach. Along with my vitamins. This old man needs to stay healthy. I also meal prep for my work week.
