whats everybody riding for 09?

this will prob be thfirst year in a while i am not rocking new stuff, maybe new boots but just dont think so got to save the money for gas on trips.

Ug i havnt decidied on a board yet...either tech nine womens jib or a capita or a o-matic.

to broke to get new bindings, so i have my burton ones that always break.

32 lashed boots.

Ahh, I have no idea what I'm gonna ride for a board yet. But right now I'm rocking some Union Milans (the shiiiiiiit, thank you Worf!) and Salomon boots.
 
Im trying to decide between the capita stairmaster, and the ride kink. i think ill prolly go capita. maybe the extreme so i can hit booters. Has anyone owned either? i know they both had good woods. I want to make sure its not gonna fall apart under my feet

i bought a rome machine mid season last year and busted the edge out the first month, voided the warranty

 
just be careful on the stairmaster since they had all those topsheet recalls last year....but im on a rome mod 154 for the park this year, and a burton jussi 159 for the pow
 
just cuz they recalled them last year means they'll probably have it fix this year, a little system companies call "trial and error". and as far as a kink, its the absolute worst board i own. it never had good response and was just lacking speed too. but mines forever old now( the year with the denim top sheet(what year is that again?)). never herd anything bad about the capita but also ive never rode one either.

haha that would be sooo fun in pow. as for me:

09 Ride Society 154 with contrabands. Also using 09 betas some days as well
 
im pickin up anbother pair of betas, last years model. last years 390s, and an older pair of betas.

Still havnt decided the board though. capita starimaster extreme, or ride kink. At least theres a few good boards offered in wides these days.

 
Haha, yeah! It's a bit of a long story but I do both, I'm most definitely on my board a lot more though.
 
i have a crack in the topsheet near the tail, after 4 runs.

I didnt even notice it untill today.

My "bomb proof" capita might have a messed up core after a few runs on groomers.

How can that be a bomb proof park board. wtf. 420

are core defects covered under warranty. Even my burton lasted till its second season, and they break like its there job.

I had a problems with my machine last year, but that was ruled impact damge, and pretty much was anyway. But it sucked.

this is a brand new board first day. 2 hours of riding
 
shit happens man, just warrany that shit. thats what should make ur break ur decicion on if ull buy from capita again, as long as it rides good too...

every person i know with a capita has problems with it. so what if it has a warranty, dont buy it if it keeps breaking. anyone had any actual good experiences owning one?

boots- some really shitty unsupportive flow boots. Anyone have any reccomendations? i need a good all mountain boot that isnt that stiff

 
i agree completely. i am a solid believer in that boot. reasonably priced and hella comfortable. plus u can usually find a pair from last year that r cheap as hell.
 
yeah i agree but i would prefer something salomon, K2, or flow. I get a hookup through them because i work at a snowboard shop, so i can get boots for dirt cheap.
 
ok i REALLY want a skate banana/ a rockered board next years, ik gnustreetfool has had 1 or 2 of em, i ride 80% park, and 20% pow and glade, is it a good idea or no, and id like to hear what anyone thinks of em/ reviews
 
i would def get a rocker board, its hard to tell a difference at first but when you ride a regular camber board again you can for sure notice. i feel like i have a lot more control too
 
just picked up a signal park rocker. god what a jibby board, but wouldnt suggest hittin jumps with it, since it washes out easy, but god damn, this thing looks pressy!
