for me on a trampoline cork 7s were way easier and it took me forever to get my cork 5s dialed in, but now cork 5s are almost as easy as cork 7s for me, but this is just on a trampoline mind you
i think 7's are easier. 5's are easier to get off axis, because as you said you can just carve off and rop your shoulder... and certain grabs make it more off axis than other. but for a full blown, feet out in front, horizontal spin, i'd say 7. set it right off the take off.
i cant do trampoline tricks, im over 6 feet tall, so if i jump um and then come untucked any i will end up hitting a side of a normal sized trampoline.
i think i want to start going to a gymnastics place and using one of those sick trampolines that's like the size of 4 regular round ones
i think throwin and inside safety on the ski that ur spinin(so if u spin to ur left reach down wit ur left hand and grab ur left ski). This drops ur shoulder and ur head, and makes u corked. just let go of the grab about 3/4 into w.e spin ur doin and ul slowly come out
well im just too goofy, i dont ever jump straight up when i jump, i jump forward and i always end up almost falling off. or actually falling off. and that is some painful shit
carve it, and don't start flailing.. that will result in you smashing your head into the landing and getting severe whiplash. once you've committed, do everything you can to keep the rotation going. even if you aren't going to land perfectly, at least you wont land on your frickin head
Just throw a 5 and drop your shoulder and look over it and i promise you will get corked. Once you get used getting corked and coming uncorked, start carving and dropping your shoulder for way smooth corks without having to huck. then it's gravy. I think cork 5's are easier than cork 7's the first way, but cork 7's are easier if you carve and drop your shoulder cause you get way more corked and the longer rotation helps you come out smoother.
if you throw your shoulder down harder your almost garunteed to come around. this how i do it. when im on the jump i throw my shoulder down and try to look at the tails of my skis. its worked every time so far.
