after reading his article in freeskier, i'd say he knows whats up in the ski world, and id also say that mot people dont understand him and just take him for face value without looking beyond what everyone says about him
 
i watched both movies last weekend. what difference does it make? he's in both films burning fossil fuel likes it's going out of style.

the line in that movie is part of a wider, obnoxious trend. global warming is a magnet for pro skiers and filmmakers looking for a cause--something to give their lives of recreation meaning, or at least something to give their films the illusion of depth. the problem is that skiers aren't hapless victims of global warming; with the long drives to the mountain, the 4-wheel drive vehicles, the lifts, snowmobiles, cats, and helis, we're just as responsible as any one else--probably more so. next time some one talks disparagingly about "how we use the earth" in their segment, I'd like to see some skins on their skis.
 
when coming down from the glacier at camp of champs i rode the lift with him and a couple french dudes. I think i caught him in a bad mood because he kept going on about how he didn't want to do some armada thing in new zealand and was kinda pissed off about that. Overall what i've seen from him is what has already been mentioned though.
 
Tony is the man!! Super good coach at HN, knows his stuff (like every other coach) and yeah kinda into the emo thing, but still a really cool guy.
 
he gave me a tie die scarf for free that he hand made and lapped the lane with me even though we werent in our groups, he was super nice
 
he's a fucking awesome skier, and it's good to see someone who has their own style rather than just jumping on the ghetto thug bandwagon
 
he is a really good bloke...... had a chat top him on a chair in whistler last year.... he intoduced him self to me as well.... doesnt like aspen though.... he was bitching about its flatness ... haha
