So many people say they are gonna be sick and the best park ski. Have people ridden them how are they?

And why shouldn't we buy them? Should we wait on Defi instead? HAHAHA

I have ridden them and they are super sick skis. Buttering on the skis I'm riding now is a chore, with the invaders its so natural, they are super fun. They still have plenty of pop and spin nice because of the stance.

I've skied them a bunch and they rip soft snow way better than fujis and kill for spinning.

I just think there is too much hype for the invader, its a low end ski, I've never ridden them ,but a si that cheap can;t be that great.

^^ word the invader uses better materials...is more poppy, has fatter edges...and probably doesn't cost too much more than the fugi

 
Honestly, that sounds like exactly what this tells me. It's possible that the base isn't as high quality, but if that's the case I haven't heard anything about it and couldn't tell when they were in my hand. They have all of the tech aspects of the other skis, and some additional ones. I'm confused by the price... they're like significantly better 1260s.

you sure the cores are the same jd? I was under the impression is had the softer core, which would definately explain why its cheaper.

 
i'd bet a large amount of money the core is shittier than normal line skis, and i'd bet my life they have the shittier base like the mavericks had

It has some strange new core technology, it's milled in certain areas (which is why they're hyping its butter ability) and the flex pattern is just ODD, but I don't know that it's "lower quality".

The Invader has a maple-macroblock wood core. Same core as their other high-end skis. The reason all their skis are cheaper next year is because of where they are made, not how.

The Invader has such a low price because it's a very similar ski to, and in direct competition with the K2 Fujative. Skibum_, that's it. Nothing to do with the quality (which is high), or any other factor you might consider. The price of the ski is so low because Line wants to be able to compete with the Fujative, which we all know has a super low price. K2 sells skis out the yin-yang, can you blame line for trying to sell some too?

i would be willing to bet lots of money that they have a shittier base like the mavercisk did (or like the scratch eco did) and a not so great core.

2001 1260 eh, ew, although i havent riddin line(or the 1260) i wouldent know, seems like everyone is buying the graphics though

the 01 1260 was a perfectly symetrial twintip with a wet/soft flex. Some people even mounted them backwards and it made no difference! I don't see whats new and great about the invaders, but feel free to enlighten me.

Dammit skis are so fucken overpriced, when you think about it, even the invaders are a rip-off. But ya, there supposed to be a good park ski at a low price, so why wouldnt you want em,especially if your poor like me.
