Desparation

all my stephen king, and all are pretty messed up. There all reallllly long too, but its so worth it to read them, just do a little at a time, youll get so into the book the length doesnt even matter.

read the book a clockwork orange. better than the movie in my opinion. the book demian by herman hesse is real good too

rum diaries, or any thing by hunter s

finniganns wake-james joyce

i am the cheese- robert cormier

is that the book that has the most instense set up ever? like there are blank pages, upsidown pages, footnotes to other pages in the book and all that crazy stuff

chuck palahnuck (probably just murdered the spelling of his last name), who wrote fight club, has lots of other great books. i really liked survivor.

ay, and they're much better than the movies. well, i never read Donnie Darko; didn't even know it was a book, but the other 2 are good and a bit fucked up as well.

The Shining: you'll like this one.

PLEASE READ THIS BOOK: "Gravity" by Tess Gerritsen.

This book is the only book that has actually frightened me. I couldn't put it down. It truly terrified me. I can't stress enough how incredible this book is. It's about an outbreak of a strange disease on the International Space Station. It sounds like a weird plot, but it's sooo fucked up. This disease is fucking scary, and the whole book is just horrifying. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

Without giving it away, it's about a apartment that's haunted (not ghosts, the actual HOUSE is haunted) and it like shifts, makes noises ends up becoming bigger and smaller inside than outside, and was blamed (I believe, it's been a while) for the death of the original tenant that lived there.

V for vendetta; the graphic novel, is a great read.

Also, check out any of the Sin City graphic novels.

As for regular books, I suggest reading The Little Prince a few times, preferably in french. If you didn't pick up on all the metaphors in it the second time, keep reading.
