seriously, i want to know what the hell it is. i've heard it before at the most random of times, and it has to be a real word. any ideas?

i personally think it's when you put your hand under your chin and wiggle your fingers at people... like making a funny face and teasing people. i call that a bandersnatch... but i dunno man.

The Bandersnatch is a fictional creature mentioned in Lewis Carroll's poem "Jabberwocky". The form or size of the creature is not described. Nor is it clear whether the Bandersnatch is a singularity, like the Phoenix.

in 7th grade we had to memorize that poem

exactly. my grandfathers 2 boats are named the jabberwocky and the bandersnatch

That poem is awesome. We did that in grade 3 if my memory serves me correctly. I can still recite it mostly...
