Glad to hear that he's doing something productive outside of skiing. But for all you younger dudes out there in NS a "Financial Rep" for NW Mutual is an entry level position that from what i hear is not a very good position. It might be different in LA but in Portland "Fin. Rep." at NW Mutual means you sell all your friends and family stuff that they may not really want, namely life-insurance. My room-mate had the same position up here and she told me that it was a really crappy job if you weren't a good seller. Although she did say that if you were a good seller you could definitely make a decent living. And I'm sure Easley is doing great considering he has a lot of connection with the sport industry(which is a lucrative group for life-insurance).
I just wanted to point this out for all the younger members of NS to stress the importance of a good education and making sure you get internships, professional mentoring, and networking programs as early as possible while you're at school -- if such things are applicable to your chosen path that is. If you get a good education, and you do a lot of productive extracurricular work you will make a lot more money than as a "financial rep" with NW Mutual.
