k i sincerely apologize for the annoying title, but now that i have your attention i neeed some input.

i would like to know if it is worth shipping my skis back to rossi so they can simply "inspect" my skis to see if they are waranteeeable. i snapped them in half while they were on their second mount. does remounting void warranties usually? also ive heard that painting your skis can void it as well, in which case im screwed. any truth to this?

if you send them back, include a letter or a follow up email explaining to them your situation. just be nice about it, theyre skiers too and theyre not tryin to screw anyone over. courteous and respect get you a long way. just dont be a dick and you should be golden.
either way they have to send something back. make them realize it might as well be new skis.

re mounting does usually void warrantee.. not sure if that is the case with Rossi..
-BUT-
... I ship ski's to companies all the time for WAY sillier things for people- Because i respect that they paid good money for them. (as did you) We almost always cover the cost of shipping to the companies, so you should take the skis to where you bought them, and remind the shop of a little thing called customer service, and make the lazy guy at the counter get off myspace and get your ski's warranteed, because a lot of times, the shop can help your odds by adding some sort of story.

If you bought online, I would still say YES. send them back, most companies, including rossignol like to keep people on their product, and what better form of marketing then a kid that is super stoked because he got some brand new ski's from them.. chances are, they will take care of you.

i drop them an e-mail first. the re-mount might screw you over as far as the warranty is concerned. if the folks at rossi are legit i'd imagine they'd give you at least one ski.

i just got my liberty hazmats warrantied because one ski lost its camber. the people at liberty are legit, but rossi being a bigger company might give you a harder time with their warranty.

You can remount a pair of skis up to 3 times, anything more than 3 times voids the warranty. I have never heard of painting them being an issue although I have never been in that situation. If you have a rossignol binding on the rossi ski than you have a 2 year warranty, if you just have a ski, then you have a 1 year warranty. If your skis are older than that they will not help you generally, but its worth a shot if the skis don't have a lot of base/edge damage and if the core doesn't seem to be shot. I would go to your local shop and they will send them in for you. Good Luck.

idk if this will help but i had a pair of pes and the unmounted so they remounted them and the broke off again so the ski store i bought them from sent them back for me and i got the 08s (i had the 07s)

so i guess talk to the ski store u bought them from..

i broke my second time mounted k2 s that werent even from this year, broke them 3/4 way through the season.

and they warrantied them

but i dont kno about rossi
