What you can do with a guitar, a trashcan, a pillow, and an iPhone app

I recently downloaded an app called Gigdaddy which is a 4 track recorder, it's pretty cool. And the other day I decided I wanted to see what I could do with just my guitar, this app, and the built in microphone. I decided after recording the guitars that it needed some drums, and since I don't have drums, I used a metal mesh trashcan with some clothes in it and a pillow.

Anyway, this is what I came up with.

Pretty sick for just using that stuff, drums felt like they got a little off after a while, but that must be tough to do, I loved the guitar, good job!
 
Props for keeping it simple. I'm so tired of hearing convoluted guitar playing; you kept this nice and chill.

Someone should start a thread where everybody posts a video of them jamming, eh?
 
Thanks man. As for the guitar, my main influences are pop-punk kind of bands, and I pretty much taught myself from listening to that kind of music. So for me it's all about simple stuff that sounds good.

And yeah man that's not a bad idea at all.
 
Word, I've got my senior project coming up and I'm thinking of doing a 6 or 8 track solo ep since my bands drummer is going to college.

I'll be sure to post stuff as I do it
 
I re-recorded what I could remember of the song with my new gear. sounds pretty decent I'd say.
