What wouls u do if ur teacher did this

i wouldnt really care. Soldiers shoot innocent people in afghanistan every day and we pat them on the back. Of course, they are quite fundamentally diffeerent, but regardless, its killing for a shaky cause.
 
well if you read the article he killed it by himself and either way it had to die for the lesson...so whats the big deal?

I don't agree with the war, and true some soldiers do kill innocent people. I don't think its very respectful to say it as if all our soldiers do that. Our soldiers fight for our country whether they agree with the war or not and most are great genuine people who want nothing but peace. But enough hijacking this thread.

I think its kind of funny what he did. Its not like he made the creature suffer infront of those kids. He killed it in a humane way so he could teach some kids in a fun and interactive way so that they will probably remember what they need to know for a test or whatever.

i dont really agree with killing animals to study them. if u want to study the insides of animals...my school disected fetal pigs
 
I disagree with killing animals for kids to dissect but I mean, this is not that big of a deal - the racoon was gunna die one way or another, it jsut happened to be a nail gun and this is in Arkansas.

a school trip to central australia included the option of going kangaroo shooting.

this involved kids in open top jeeps and one guy with a shotgun.

most people on the trip went. no one really seemed phased.

it got brought back to their camp and skinned.
 
I don't really think it's that big of a deal. Sure, the teacher shouldn't have done it, but it's not like he did it in front of the kids.
 
i dont agree with killing adult animals so we can study and myabe understand them a bit more.

but i do agree with dissecting their unborn children.

From the title of the article I thought the teacher was going to have sex with the racoon, because that seemed more likely than shooting it with a nail gun.
