What would you like to see on a coat?

keep it simple.

One solid color, maybe make one of the arms a off color, like a all black jacket with one white sleeve would be sick.

or possibly that with the pockets. and zippers.

and if there is a hood that shit better be fur.

oh and a bit of a tall fit but not a skirt

Ahmet you gettin an under armour pro model?

-gradient coloring, instead of sharp lines

-Have the hood magnetize down so it doesnt fly up in your face when you ski switch

-tall but not super wide

-bright colors on the inside, so it looks dope when you rock it jacket open

-bright color on the inside of the hood

-pass pocket

-powder skirt

•Durability/Waterproofing: I want to see 20k/20k waterproofing and breathability. I want to see it implemented with multiple layers and literally the best technology available. So Saga would be out.

•Pockets: I would want zippered pockets of a variety of different sizes and types. I'd want a pass pocket on the arm and many large pockets available. Pockets on the inside of the jacket are also nice (i.e. iPod pockets, etc.)

•Features: The best features available; in short, I would want all of the best features available on a jacket. That's going to mean a powder skirt, jacket/pants connectivity, iPod pockets and connectivity/interoperability, etc. I'm not a huge fan of jackets that trap your thumbs, but I would welcome such features because of their obvious value.

•Design/Colors: Baggy, but not ridiculous. Not quite this year's Saga. Last year's Saga was good. In terms of colors, I'd want a multitude of solid color options only. Neon seems played, but most likely, I'd probably actually be more apt to jump on neon outerwear.

From the looks of it, it seems like you're taking all of these ideas from us because you miiight be getting an Under Armour pro model jacket or something? Just a guess haha, but anyways what I personally look for in a coat is this...

-20K/20K Waterproofing

-Tall fitted (like the HAW jacket you wore, but a little shorter)

-Useful pockets inside and outside of the jacket

-A pass holder of some sort (maybe a laminated pocket to hold it)

-Plain colored (ROYGBIV colors of the rainbow and shit) OR patterened as long as it's not ugly

-Button or magnet on the very back of the jacket to hold down the hood (no more hood in the face while spinning in the air or when riding switch)

-Warm insulation

-Durable material that won't tear easily

-Vents to unzip (for those mad hot spring days)

more than one interior chest pocket, i cant stand how almost every jacket out there has two bigger pockets outside, one on the arm, a goggle mesh thing, an mp3/phone pocket of some kind and thats it.

there should be two or 3 interior pockets for food/mp3/phone/poke-smotting devices. i dont want my heavy ass phone or ipod in my pants so it breaks when i fall and makes my 20k pants that are so lightweight not lightweight anymore. also keeping them around the chest area keeps them from impact.

simple colors, no huge logos, arm pit vents w/ that mesh fabric in them. no velcro

Black jacket, with the sleeves colored gold. Almost like the Level 1/jibberish hoodie from this year, but just gold colored instead of the pattern. Matching gold colored zippers would go nicely with it. Regular pockets in front (the bottom ones), one or two pockets at the chest level. Possibly a padded pocket similar to the old RED helmet/beanie material to keep the ipod, phone, or whatever protected a bit. A hood similar to jibberish's, as in not as pointy as some companys make theirs. I also thought a bandana style part addition to the jacket would be pretty sick. Black with some matching gold color. Basically it would be attached to the hood, and could clip across the front of your face like a bandana, but at the same time you would be able to clip it into the hood if you didnt want to use it. Its a bit hard to explain, but would basically look like a bandana or yowie or whatever those are called, but it would be attached to the jacket. It may look weird when the jackets not zipped the whole way, but I think it would be pretty functional when the jacket was zipped up.

As far as design goes, just black or grey with a little neon or bold color accents- I could wear it around town that night.Definitely a nice powder skirt... and waterproofed pockets. Maybe a thin, zip-out liner. I like versatility.

But really though. Some sort of fabric like the Bonfire clothing from 2-3 years ago that was so thick it was like carharts or some shit. That stuff was bomb proof and people loved it cause you wouldn't destroy it from rails or pushing in the Park plus it was waterproof. Perfect East Coast stuff. Like!

protective pockets would be nice..water proofing and such. zippers, buckles. i like flashy looking jackets

tall, not slim but not big, mellow-er colors with bright accents (maybe zippers etc), poncho anorak style? i love having the belly pocket on burton jussi anorak from last year. NO ZIP OFF HOODS! vents that you can actually reach and open while wearing the said jacket.

tall fit, waterproof, simple colors, no whack designs, pow skirt, pockets everywhere inside and out, vents, zippers on pockets, aaaaaannnnndddd.................

MAGNETS INSTEAD OF VELCRO!

solid colors ranging all over the spectrum, but not bright neon shit. like a solid yellow, blue, red, green, maybe purple if its the right shade, black, white, and dark grey

20k/20k

lots of pockets

tall ish fit

some contraption to keep the hood out of my face when i ski switch

durable material for falling on rails/urban shit.

uhhhh can i make it grant wishes too?

taller fit

waterproof

zippered pockets ( one on each hip and at least one on the chest)

inner pockets for ipod and everything else

magenets everywhere instead of velcro especially on th hood to keep it down

simple clean design

goggle wipe

wrist and snow gaitors

hopefullay all of this could come in a jacket thats reasonable, for me anything over $350 is just way too much, ideally around $300

everthing already said .. plus a huge pocket that starts halfway up ur back and goes all the way down to the end of the jacket ... could be so handy for smaller tripods ... extra layers if u take off or put on .. and other random shis that u usally put in a backpack

just throwin this out there, id like a hardened pocket, not plastic or anything just something where you can store lighters, smokes joints or w.e.

Fur on the whole interior would probably get too hot to where everyday, so two layers, the inside is like cotton hoody with the fur liner, the outside is your average thinner jacket. but have fur on the outside liner's hood too. Secret pockets are a must too, hide one in the fur.
