if you had to choose

live in a place like utah, be able to ski alot and pursue the dream of being a pro but not be happy

or

go back to your hometown on the eastcoast where you could be happy but not live the skibum lifestyle.
 
umm live in california where i can be a ski bum and have nice whether and hot girls and then everyones happy because im happy
 
living the ski bum lifestyle was the best time of my life, and i'm about to do it again in t-minus 2 years when i graduate college. the people you meet, the experiences, and most of all, the constant skiing. what about that wouldn't make you happy?
 
its not that THAT wouldnt make me happy, its what i would be missing out the would make me unhappy. i feel more comfortable on the easy coast i lived there up until a couple years ago.
 
be happy because the only reason to be a ski bum on the west coast is to be happy

but why would you be more happy in the easy coast not being a ski bum
 
this is a no brainer. you have to do whatever makes you happy. most likely if you arent happy trying to be a pro then you arent gonna make it successfully as a pro.
 
I'll rephrase that. I can't be happy if I can't ski this run whenever I want.

That may be the reason why I can't leave home very much without going crazy.
 
damn where is that? looks like colby's at jhole.

and i'm happy in the east, i get to do my skiing. and it's a real treat whenever i get to go out west.
