ok this weekend i'm going up sking i just bought new skis and i don't no if i should risk messing the bases on them. I have an old par but i wanna ski my new ones.

I'm hungry

Start out the day on a couple groomers, get warmed up on your new skis see how they ride. Then bust out the old pair when your ready to hit some off-piste, and if the trails have good coverage, go back to the car and get the new ones if you desire. It doesn't take much time to switch.

what would you rather do...ski your good ones now and skrew 'em up or ski them later when theres actually good snow

well it depends how your resort is goin w/ snow

I'd wait for the good snow for sure. You can never get a pair of fucked up skis back to a new.
