What Would You Do If You Were Stuck On A Chairlift.....

Im talking about being stuck on a chairlift overnight...not for a couple of minutes....I am just curious to see what people would do?

i saw a tv show about this. the guy took his skis off and climbed up the chair to teh cable and slid under the cable to a pole and then went down the little ladder spikes on the pole.

but...not everyone is a fuckin navy seal and can't perform at 50 feet in the air.

just send it... well maybe, probably not. if it was warm enough and i had the balls, i would make like an orangatang(the monkey creature) and swing down the cable to the pole, then climb down, that would be gnar!

Depends on how high it was. Most of the lifts at my mountain are about 25-30 off the ground, so if they told us we would be stuck all night, I'd hang off of the feet rests, then just drop. If it was at the highest point of the highest chair, about 100 feet, I'd probabaly stand on the chair, then commando crawl the wire to the tower.

Imagine yourself, last ride of the day, going in the chairlift alone with a beeautifulll woman...and it stops there for the night...

oh my

masterbate for 12 hours. and i dont mean over and over...keep that shit going for 12 hours. then id bust it everywhere, and it would attract bears from miles around, and then id seduce yogi with a picnic basket to rescue me...and that furry fucker would.

umm usually in the midwest they have cherry pickers come get you cause our lifts are soo small

just sit there untill i get rescued, if there is no other option.

i was stuck on the lift for half an hour because the power went out a while ago, we had a sing along...

Shit getting stuck like that would suck so bad. At creek there is this one 2 person 20 minute lift that is really high up and it si on a part of the moutain that gets no sun so its cold as balls, getting stuck there would suck so bad. But it is such a big joint that they would come get get you or something.

depends how high and how powdery the snow is.....if its good enough conditions i would hang and jump..if not i would call sum ppl then listen to my iPod then prolly go to sleep

and you happened to bring a sleeping bag, and you were on one of those high speeds 6 chairs. And she was like I am so scared and then you would just get into the sleeping bag and she happened to have lingure and it just went from ther.....haha.

these pics have nothing to do with this thread....but i think they are funny so im posting them....

id prolly jump.

or i would use my ski like a rope sorta and put it over the cabel adn slid down.

or id try and slide that shit.

i got stopped for 2 hours on one when i was like 6 so i just kinda chilled there, but people were jumping from like 40 feet onto an icy mougle field pritty crazy

shit...i was thinking that the other day....only instead of sliding down the cables w/ my legs or whatev, use my ski swung over th cable and holding onto both sides

I would chill there and keep warm and try to stay awake. When the lifts opened in the mourning I would just say hello to the liftie then sue the shit out of whatever mountian I was on. There was this guy at breck who got left on the lift and walked away with 500k. Me and my buddy actually talked about going real early in the mourning hiking up throwing up a line and climbing up sitting on the chair for an hour then acting like we where there all night... dont get any ideas.

well if it wasnt that high id just slip off with my skis on and try to land it... but im just saying that now who knows what i'd do if i was actualy in that situation

I'd go on the rope thing and shimmy across till I was ow enough to jump or till I got to a tower, itd be tough but youd be suprised what the human body can do if you push it

Dear hoose

1stly: you don't smoke

2ndly: you can't get any ladies

3rdly: dibs on the maidens this weekend

there has to be some more creative suggestions than this...lets see some real creativity...im tlaking brain busting creativity..like woah.

see u huys are forgetting one thing...wile ur sliding down on skis/ poles and hanging from the line...wat about the chairs behind uur gunna come crashing into that and most likley fall off there

Id probly take my skiis off, stand on the chair and try to do the mackarina till morning without falling off.

I was a lift supervisor at Alta for three years and have heard horror stories. Out here if it not super cold...I'd stick it out. If I was in VT, or somewhere where it was 10 degrees or colder...I'd take my chances with bomb dropping that shit cause you'll die, plain and simple. It's happened numerous times.
