What Would Suit Best??

Okay. This is for a ski to be used only for big mountain and hard out speed, no park, no pipe. I want a ski that will cruise the entire mountain, kill chutes and steeps, handle intense speed, GS turns and quick sharp carves. Nothing soft like the crossmax either, any ideas what would suit?? And preferably not a Salomon coz I hate them. Oh and it will be mainly used on soft or hardpack snow, not often on powder so a powder or fat ski would not be good. Thanks dudes.

stockli stormrider -this ski kills it everywhere, it is only a midfat, but can do it all. very stiff too.

yeah the stormrider is good, other skis i rode that fit that description:

Rossi Bandit XX

Atomic 10.ex

but both require a little bit of effort on the groomers

Bandits, bandits, bandits. I have a pair of those and some enemy's, and the bandits kill everything. Get the XXX kind, because they are a lot fatter and handle the chutes better.

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

only problem with the bandits is that they break very easily, but rossignol is relatively good about warranties. i think the xxx is probably going to be fatter than your looking for as well. other than the break problems and a little too much sidecut the bandits kick ass though. i still say get the stormriders.

bandits for sure....and rossi fixed that breaking problem last season, and if anything happens they have an awesome warrantee....if you want something cheaper try the k2 axis or dynastar all terrain 4wd

sweet as, so the Axis and Dynastar 4X4s are really good??

How much is the Stormrider in America and what lengths does it come in??

cheers dudes

they don't make 4x4's no more, they are called intuitivs and are sicker than ever, i would suggest like the intuitv 74's they are probably the best all around.

if your monkey was misbehaving, would you spank it?

oh okies, hmmm, I may have to demo both I think, the intutivs look sick aye, hmmm, we still only have 4X4's in stock over here, looks like I'm buying from the USA, are the Stockli's like real sick and have no durability problems and stuff?

i think intuitiv bigs would probably be the best out of the intuitiv series, pricey though

if you go with intuitivs your best bet for everything would be the 74's, they are a sick all around ski, you would be surprised at how well they handle the whole mtn in all conditions

I say try the Head Super Cross Ti's. Like skir216 said. The super stiff, and light, i liked them when i gave them a few runs.
