Nike made twin tips, would anyone buy them? i personnally think it would take a few years, cool graphics, and some decent riders on thier team but i dont know. what do u guys think?
 
def no i hate nike skate shoes even though they have a good team, it would be like say abercrombie making pre-ripped snowpants..... it just doesnt work well
 
how about this one..

Nike would just do what they did with Hurley.. Buy it.. They would buy a ski company that was going downhill (*cough* Line..) and change the name and leave creative control to original owners.. like a hands off approach like K2 did when they bought up Ride. Personally i dont care what brand something is as long as it suits my needs and holds up to what I throw at it regardless of what others say about it.. Besides. itd prolly have a sick graphic and a little swoosh thats easily covered with a sticker..

Nike also has the capabilities to put $$$$ into R&D and the return policy would be as rock solid as the rest of their products..

For all of you taking time to read this.. thanks. as for others.. continue with your one word responses ..
 
i guess they could "save" a company, but i would have a very hard time supporting any company owned by Nike.
 
There are so many smaller companies that you could help out, and help the sport, why anyone would go and buy a nike a ski is way beyond me.
 
im not positive but im pretty sure adidas owns salomon and nike actually made some snowboard boots my freind had a pair
 
it would be a sad day if line ever made some agreement or sold themselves to nike, but im almost 100% positive that will never happen
 
it's been said and i agree. quality and value is the deciding factor. if you are trendy... buy what everyone thinks is trendy - if you are "real", buy a good product for being a good product. that being said - they would have to be proven as some killer sticks for me to ride em.
 
im going to have to disagree with most people here. i think that if nike made skis they would get good business. this sit is only a certain part of the people who ski. you know that rich family who goes skiing in the lexus once a year would buy that because nike is a big name, and that would be the only reason they bought it.... why do 13-year-old girls buy abercrombie for a shit load of money?!?!

i like nike ACG outerwear. it's good quality and pretty stylie. i wouldn't reject nike skis just cos' they were made by nike
