What would be Better

You can do practically everything you do now deaf, you can do virtually none of it blind. How is it a hard choice?

ok, for practical reasons, your right. i can imagine doing most things while being deaf, right.

but for some reason being deaf seems very tough to me.

my guess is just that if you have 100 healthy persons and you make 50 of them blind and 50 of them deaf and change it afterwards so that each group experiences both, i would think that most people would rather see nothing than hear nothing.

Not being able to hear would blow. Music i feel like is 50% of my life, im always listening to it. Plus anything you watch, tv movie, etc youre just fucked for. Both would be unfortunate, pretty tough choice.

Beer(i wont be skiing when im 80, but im fuckin positive ill be drainin some paps), the girl of my dreams, and bill gates as my father
Riding with your favorite pro riders for 2 years, or free sessions at windells for 2 years

be bald or really grossly hairy like this

yeah i mean itd be a somewhat easy choice just for pragmatic reasons, but not being able to hear music ever again would suuuuck

or imagine going for a hike in the mountains and you couldnt hear the wind in the meadows, the birds in the sky and such stuff.

just for a nature-experience thing (even though its close) i would go for being blind

as you said, pragmatic reasons might favor being deaf.

still tough ,)

haha all the questions up till this one were good things.

i would probably lose my sighte because i cant imagine life without music.

then i would live in a basement or something and just become a musical prodigy

Haha I don't know a damn thing about good beer. I'm 20 years old. But I do know that if I'm not drinking classier beer than bud light or keystone by the time I'm older I'll be disappointed in myself.

This. Sure no music sucks... but you'd have no tv, no movies, no sunsets or moutains or skiing without some guy skiing behind you shouting 'turn'... you lose so much more. its much easier to function as a deaf person in society than a blind one.

(unless you're that kid with no eyes who uses sonar...)
