Man you don't want to cheap out on a binding. you may think that a binding is a binding is a binding, but no. if you have crappy binding, you need to set the DIN really high so it won't prerelease. And you may think 'sure, that's fine, i'll set the DIN higher and the binding will work the same. great'. wrong. Because the DIN is so high, there still is more pressure on the binding. So it still is less likely to release in a fall that you really need the binding to release (even though , when at the same DIN as a good binding, it will prerelease because it has no elasticity, like a Look/Rossi binding has). oops, there goes your leg, and the rest of your skiing season.
So don't cheap out and get those Looks on ebay. plus they'll look sweet on your chronics.
