What will be the last trick possible

sure tricks can, think about the endless possibilities of rail tricks there is soo much possible skiing is finally going to get really creative and unique like snowboarding, and also more 1260's and 1440's man.
 
yeah and we'll be able to unlock reality like the low gravity cheats on the tony hawk games...oh how i love progression
 
low gravity would be awesome!!! 1440 triple cab hamburger switch blunt to sloppy diaster toxic but grab ... all corked to rail (150ft away)
 
when i'm like 50 i'll be skiing with my kids and i'll go "he check it out i can ski switch" then he'll go "check it out i can ski on my head"
 
come to think of it I was wrong with the 1260's and shit, did you guys ever see the freeze magazine where in ask brad he had skis that went all the way over his head thats where itll be at or everyone will go back to snowblading, and do lui kanks but we will think posotive.
 
it's a real good question, I mean TJ supposedly found a new axis to spin on, but overall I think it'll just come down to style.

1440's aren't the answer-

And grabs should be limited to what looks good, not where can you reach your hands for a little bit
 
Not much bigger rotations but more into the double variations in the flips like Wilson is doing and just stuff will get bigger. Like big air/rail jam where the jump has a rail on the landing.
 
someone will take off a ski in mid air.. spin it around there head 5 times, put it back on, do a flip and land
 
dude you wouldnt even land forwards. i gotta try it. im gonna strip my edges off completely and do like spins up the lip of the jump and stuff like boxes to massive jumps
 
i believe in the theory of reverse progression. in 5 years, no movement, no grab straight airs are going to be the coolest thing of all time.

I wanna see this new axis, and his grabs are so so so tweaked, the Inhuman Mute, hopefully will sweep the nation, it looks so cool, especially when he lets go of the grab and the ski just keeps rotating back to its origianal direction
 
If that is the direction skiing is going, i might vomit. I get so sick and tired of watching some comps with guys throwing switch 10 after switch 10, and getting critiqued on how many fingers were touching the ski, or how many milliseconds longer someone grabbed, or how many centimeters less their ski shifted on the landng. Last years US open big air was the most boring comp i have even seen in my life. Our local 14 and under comp was about 100 times more exciting to watch. Guys like wilson are my favorite skiers. Not aftaid to go against the grain and mix it up. It's like forbidden for your skis to go over your head anymore. The steez patrol might cite you for hucking.

And if you wanna talk about a progression in tricks... switch lincoln. That needs to be done right. Potenial for trick of the year in my opninion.
 
i think we will get crazy urban progression like airing over a house and using the other side of the roof as a landing then 540ing off the roof anto the ground
 
i'm thinking it going to go the other way and people will care less about huge spins and just focus on the style of their riding and not so much doing the biggest trick but just making normal shit look amazing
 
i think that jumps will die down as in not really progress more except for being super styley and clean. rails and creative shit is where its goin
 
Dudes, in terms of technicality wise, skiing is already loosing ground. I mean the guys who have been in freeskiing awhile will agree with me. What started off as 360s quickly evolved to like 1260's, and double backflips, switch backflips, stuff like that. Now, in movies it is rare to see anyone go inverted. Don't you remember Tanner killing the big air comps years back. Kid went undefeated for like two years straight what did he throw...a switch rodeo like every fucking time. Now all everyone throws is cab 10's. Skiing is definittely moving more towards "style", which is subjective.... maybe some people think going bigger is more stylie. I don't know. All i do know is that the tricks in skiing are losing the danger that used to be involved with them, and leaning more towards being smooth. It seems like these days noone even has the desire to throw switch rodeos, or double backflips.
