Maybe the Volant Chubb....mcconkey rocked those a while and everyone lauged at him til he smoked by them on the hill. Id say either that or that Atomic fat ski, not sure what that ones called though.

I believe it was the volant chubb, brought to us by McConkey. You may also want to talk about the spatula, what a huge advancement.

there was also the rossi heli traxx, and the volkl snow ranger... the rossis were dealt almost exclusivley to heli operations... back in the early/mid 90's

anyone know where i can get info on the first superpark, parkasaurs, USFSO, and X-games ski event?

the first fatties came out in the mid 80's for heli skiing. they were straight as hell and had bindings mounted closer to the inside edges so yu could stand with your legs together.

even before that ski skis made by the norwegians waaaaaaaay back in the day when they first invented them to cross over snow were really fat too, around 10cm. they were also far over 200cm and were about 5cm thick
