What type of poles do guys use?

personally though, poles dont do miuch for me, i dont care as long as i can lean on them without them cracking

what are joysticks made out of. i cant see dishing out all that money if theyre hollow tubes that can break in 30 seconds

i'm rockin' the stolen rentals... if i had money bleeding out of every orfice of my body, I'd get the Armada polka dot ones in a second though... on a side note, does any one else agree that Armada should DEFINITLY rename that pole the "polka your eyes out" pole?

scott. they dont bend anywhere near as easy. some cheap poles are good though to. id just rather have something that wont break.

Yeah i also have some scott carbon fiber poles that i got for 5 bucks (this shop deal, you get 10 bucks free for every 100 that you buy, and i got skis boots and bindings) and they are so sick, but i rock the shitty poles now and then.

I used scott poles before... and they almost lasted me a season, before one broke. I bought some Goode usa carbon adjustable poles. They took a little getting used to because they are so light. They flex a lot though, and the guy who I ski with mostly has been using his for like five seasons and he skis like 3 times as much as me... so we'll see how they hold up. They were expensive!

But in all honesty, poles really don't matter as much as any of the other equipment you'll use. I just don't like having to buy them all the time, so i'm hoping that... "you get what you pay for"

Lowest end Scott poles. They're light, straight, and don't bend... that's about all it takes to qualify as a "good pole" in my opinion.

go with like 80 dollar poles, they wont break and if they do its only once, if u buy 1 dollar poles ull prolly break a pair every other weak and end up having to buy so many it will be just as much if not more than expensive poles that wont break.

mismatched free poles I find hiking the mountain in the summer. you always find pole that people drop. I got 2 about the same length, and spray painted them both black

I always rock the composite. Don't care what brand.

Nothing worse than having to stop skiing to borrow/steal/rent/buy poles due to breaking aluminum ones.

I rock goode, unfortunately every pair I've had since the originals has broken, the originals were in my possession for 3 years till some jackass stole them

kermas, they hold up so well. I think im on my 3rd season with them and they havent even come close to bending, they're really light too.

i got a pair of salomon flag series last season. theyr just normal poles with red blue and yellow. look pretty cool i guesss. sorta fucked em up today at okemo. bent that shit so hard. but i fixed it. if you want a poll that wont bend go for the Scott Carbon Series. they wont bend. but they will snap. stronger then any aluminum pole.
