i Love my ipod touch. Wont be skiing with it but meh i have 2 others for that. I can mod around with it and 90% of it looks like an iphone. But if you dont have the money id still recommend an ipod mini video or a shuffle. cant go wrong with apple and nothing beats the customer service.

ipod nano 2g 8 GB. dont buy an ipod, they are a tremendous ripoff, and they are full of bugs and frustration.

I like my zune a lot...but its your decision, I'd either get a small flash zune or an ipod nano/shuffle...
