What type of beer?

terrible fucking statement.

Canada has a very very limited selection of beer. Very little microbreweries. America has a shitton of beer selections and a lot of microbreweries. Budweiser, Miller, etc. are just the tip of the iceberg of American beers albeit a shitty fucking tip but the bottom of the iceberg can be loaded with awesome beers.

well of that selection i would go with kokone, or pbr. but seriously why not get something that is actually good. you could gets some moose drool(big sky brewing) my favorite beer when i get out west or a multitude of other great microbrews or even good mass brewed beer. shit i rather have a coors original then any of the beer you gjust mentioned.

You definitely can't get Pillys in Colorado. It's only really in Western Canada and just recently came to the East in tall boys. They're $2.50 a tallboy which is fucking absurd considering it's pilly but it's still one of the cheapest tallboys you can buy here. Shit's stupid.

When I lived in Ontario, the cheapest beers were $26 for 24 bottles. They were generics, lucky lager, lakeport, and PBR. Lakeport Honey and PBR were by far the best of the cheapest beers. When I lived in Switzerland, I just drank the cheapest generic "Lager" beer or "Volg Lager" and they were pretty good.

I'll I used to drink nice beer. I used to have money.

Coors Light is my pick, but you really can't go wrong with PBR. It's got a fucking blue ribbon like they give out to the best pies at a state fair, that's gotta mean something.

that needed to be said... when I'm home in VT I'm inundated with choice, I usually end up with a hand picked 24 composed of 4 different delicious microbrews. Here in BC when I walk into a liquor store I think which one of these overpriced piss waters am I gonna struggle through tonight... I never buy canadian beer, I just shell out the extra few bucks and drink stella. I thought you people prided yourself on drinking high alcohol good beer, fuck me... I'll never call one of you a hoser again until you earn it and make a decent fucking beer.

/rant

kokanee cuz it's canadian and isn't a bitchy little american beer that tastes more like water than beer and has less alcohol content in it than urine... and tastes just a little better too

VT does have some good Microbrews, so does Oregon. But so do BC, and Quebec. I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Stella is hella generic dude. You're into micros and then choose Stella as a second choice? What the hell?

Difference between me and you, you drink 5 beers and you're drunk, i drink 12 and im drunk. I need more than twice the beer you need, hence you can spend twice as much. Sounds like you're super classy thought high 5!

pbr is mad good especially for the price but why would you buy any of that haha just get like budwiser or something like yingling but from those choices i would get pbr

NOT Keystone. Shit tastes like vomit. In that price range I like PBR and Caguamo, but just spend a few extra bucks and get Budwieser for god's sake.

do enlighten me as to what these good BC microbrews are... I don't like granville island (if I want something that sweet I'll have a cream soda), Bowen is almost okay if you're on a budget but still has that same over-the-top sweetness to it. Dude beer is really awful but they never really pretended not be. What have I missed?

And I wasn't tryin to call Stella a microbrew I was simply making a statement that I do not drink the beers native to canada, thats all.

you are entitled to your opinion, its just that its WRONG

pbr is delicious and the only thing to buy. but get like 6 24 packs.
