Band of Brothers

Boardwalk Empire

Game of Thrones

Mad Men

I'm a big The Sopranos, True Detective, Breaking Bad kinda guy....What show should I check out next?

I'll be honest, I started watching Game of Thrones, and I found it a little cheesy and weird...However, I feel like if I give it a chance I'll like it, since 100% of the world does right now.

Thoughts guys!

Well if you liked Band of Brothers then you should watch The Pacific.

Also The League, it's about a group of friends in a fantasy football league. It has a lot of quick witty humor in it because it's basically entirely improv.

you will like game of thrones just stick with it. And check out Dexter for a show with writing on BBs level

I know I'm going to get so much hate for this, but Game of Thrones seems so lame. Watching the first episode now and it just comes off as super cheesy, kinda like in the same way "300" was...They try too hard. There's also some pretty bad acting here and there.

Fargo. It's new on fx and incredibly well done in a breaking bad-ish way. I'd highly recommend it

Haven't watched Band of Brothers yet, the blu ray set has been sitting on my shelf for about 6 months now and I feel like a piece of shit for not getting around to watch it because I know it's going to be awesome.

Fargo looks pretty good in its own way, I was actually thinking about checking that out. Billy Bob Thornton pretty good in it?

The League is amazing and it's on netflix.

Suits is a really good show too. New episode tomorrow (wednesday)

My show right now is Sons of Anarchy. So bomb

Was really into Sons of Anarchy up until they started falling victim to the whole "lets use the most fucked up societal problem to get views" route and did the episode with the school shooting.

Also, Jax is just a Grade A Douche. Couldn't stand watching him strut around like a dick for more than a couple of episodes.

DOES ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE AGREE THAT THE SOPRANOS AND TRUE DETECTIVE WERE THE ONLY AWESOME TV SHOWS TO HAPPEN TO TV IN THE LAST 10 YEARS? TV is fucking garbage these days.

Yea he's real badass

If you haven't watched Band of Brothers should be at the top of your list it's only ten episodes. Then watch The Wire. That's easily my favorite series of all time.

Here is my "must watch list" in a ranked order of personal preference.

Band of Brothers-60 Minute Episodes

Generation Kill-60 Minute Episodes

Entourage-30 Minute Episodes

Silicon Valley-30 Minute Episodes

The League-30 Minute Episodes

True Detective-60 Minute Episodes

Deadwood-60 Minute Episodes

The Pacific-60 Minute Episodes

I have heard GREAT things about The Wire, John Adams, and Turn but have not gotten around to watching it.

Criminal Minds and Pretty Little Liars are the only shows I care to watch lololol

I heard the Wire was the greatest show of all time but I watched the first 7 or so episodes and I really just wasn't that into it. Maybe it gets crazy or somethin as it goes on but I couldn't really see how it was such a standout show.

Watch Dragon Ball Z though, obvi

I wanna get into Boardwalk Empire more than anything, and I gave it a strong go, but I just can't get into it for some reason. I can't tell if it's Steve Buscemi's face/voice, or if the show is just boring.

Gonna try out Mad Men and continue to watch re-runs of Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and True Detective in the meantime...

Where is True Detective Season 2 when you need it?

AND OF COURSE THE DAILY SHOW and that guy who's on after
