What tricks have ns been learning?

Just wanted to hear what new tricks the people of the forum are learning. I’m trying to get familiar with names of tricks.

Nothing crazy but I learned 5050 left 1 swap to switch 5050 to switch other day on a mini down to flat bar. Got close to a 270 swap but couldn’t get it down clean tho. Fun ass trick I was hyped to learn it.

i found out the world of slide to 5050/similiar combos last weekend theyre so fun

- Shoe put in a ride-on ride-off disco box and it's probably the most fun feature I've ever ridden. Gotten consistent 360s across it, switch on to front 2, 360 to tailbutter 1, so many fun combos. It's small and dumb, but I fucking love it, and I hope it stays in all season.

- Hit my first kinked rail, not super clean, but I'll take it.

- 180s on bigger jumps, waiting for a warm day on a smaller jump to really try 3s

- Getting consistent in taking rails to switch or forward on purpose.

- First legit stall feature.

It's been a fantastic season so far, lots of warm slushy weekends.

recently learned tailbutters now working on tailbutter 3s off the knuckles, also doing 360 and 540 with grab variations, want to learn more spins but i sprained my knee last season so have to take it chill

spent a day hiking to get my first unnat superfed on film. Starting to work more unnat foot forward blind 2s as well and getting better at sliding unnat

The thing where you hop on a flat box with one ski on and one off and hooking a 180 off the end. Nose bud 7, cork 3, flat 3, sliding rails. Mostly learning these in a big mountian setting.

Have they rebuilt the park down at shoe yet I might go ski there for a weekend once I’m cleared to ski

Been trying just normal grinding and hitting jumps but on rails i cant really land like i want to and sometimes becomes a pizza when i land also overthinking when people are around

I just started park skiing at the end of last season and this past winter break Ive been grinding out:

- I got k fed( took me two days, I found it hard as its unnat spin)

-Brittney (got first try found it quite easy as I got backswaps down)

-2c2( I got 2 on and accidently did cont 2 out)

- Double surfaceswap( just went slow and swapped)

I personally know that what people say is little help for overthinking, but when I realized that for every good park skier, there were 10 more people who weren't that good, it helped a lot. If you do a straight air without crashing, there is someone out there still impressed. Most good skiers don't give a rats ass if you can't do any tricks, and those who do care are dicks anyway.

You're the only one whose judgement matters, so just have fun with it!

I want to learn frontside 270 off next time I'm on the mountain and land a clean 360 by the end of the season

I hate the way they look but just loooove doing them. Something about 50-50ing a rail is so satisfying.

Rodeo 5 was the first flip I learned and was comfortable with and now they feel foreign to me. I tried one last year and it was an athletic fight to make it to my feet. Immediately made me feel fat and old. Goal is to be able to do them like I used to.

Prog got mostly rebuilt last weekend, Build is: jump / disco pad / small flatbar / straight tube / 32 rail / flat-down flatbar / toblerone stall / jump / flat-down-flat box-rail.

Pretty fucking good build rn, go get some. Haven't been over to Silver Creek yet but they have a park build too.

270 swaps are so dope and have definitely not been explored enough

Damn that’s like the exact same as the build opening weekend but worse. If only park crew there actually rode and wasn’t just a bunch of drug addicts lol

Me thinking I was the worst skier in the world in the park at Bolton Valley until I got a YEWWWWW and Dollo bark from people on the chair who just watched me throw another shifty
