What tricks are people throwing on average in each age group?

what tricks are people throwing on average in each age group?

For example, ages 11-13/14-16/18-21/21-25/25-30 are normally throwing down _______

What's the norm?

18-21 22-25 are lots of the pros we see in comps like sammy, simon (i think) ect. So they are doing like sw 10, sw14, dub front ect but that is not the "norm" I dont think.

I think it greatly depends on where you ski, Whistler, PC probably have better kids than a small resort due to the fact the parks are better.

there really isnt a norm for age groups, there arent that many freestylers in comparison to normal skiers and you can get 12 year olds throwing sw cork 10s.

well, i'm 18 and I mostly do 3s and 1s and a lot of rails, but I ski more all mountain and trees and stuff than park. one of my brothers is 15 and he does 5s, 3s and tons of rails, and my youngest brother is 12 and he does 9s and 7s, but not rails as much

i think it also depends on who you are skiing with...if you have a bunch of little kids (like 10, 11, 12) watching or skiing with the older, better kids, they like to try bigger and better stuff which raises the bar..

Im 16 and i just work with doing 3's and 180s with different grabs and reals but like the guy above im more of an all mountain skier, i like to ski trees and steeps and stuff like that

i'm 16 and can do cork 3's and 5's, pretzels (sp?), butter 1's and 3's, and a bunch of other little random tricks and grabs

im 14 and my best trick is a HUGE styled out CLAIM with a really sick grab called a

"lets not turn this into a claimfest" grab

im 14, and i can do 720s cork 5s and 5s and less with ok grabs, and i can do 270s on to some boxes and 270 off any rail or box can switchup on my home rail but ive never tried on mountain rails, also i do these jumps on anywhere from 20 foot tables to 50 ft tables(i tried a 5 tail grab and screwed up my foot over one of these jumps). unfortunately my skis are too short for me though, i have 161 invaders and im 115 pounds and 5 foot 6.

im 13 i can 7, 9, 450 on, 450 out, 270 on, 270 out, switch ups, throw grabs in spins. i can 5 in the pipe with grabs and shit

but i do it more for fun than just to land the trick

I'm 8 years old can switch double cork 1800 with this SICK true tip mute grab

i can also do quad twister spread grab while doin my kangaroo flips

a super fun trick is the flatspin nosebutter hand drag 9

but my fav trick (and most impressive) is my fuckin epic Triple bio 180 double tail grab

i love skiing pow thou...i mean who doesnt eh?

im 16 and i can cork cork 9, 10 most of the time, backie, eggroll, nose butter 5, and everything in between with grabs and stuff, but i dont do that many rails, i can only 270 on and off both ways (not together)

I don't ski a lot of park so I can't really say what people are throwing at my home mountain, but from what I've seen kids my age range (15-17) are throwing 5s and 7s, sometimes cork. There are some people who are throwing bios and d-spins and one kid I ski with who throws switch cork 9s and flat 9s, but he grew up and skis park and ramps during the summer...it all depends on what terrain you ski.

I'm 16 and have done Rodeo 7. But I know 12 year olds doing 9's and 12 year olds doing 3's. There is no way to say for sure.

i wonder whos the oldest member of ns!!!!

im like 5 years old and i can do dub rodeo 1890 to onefoot unatty nosepress pretzel bio 1890 out.. thats a dope tricks.. does it on my home made rails.. can also do sw triple cork 1800 and in the air, i take of the skies, and take them back on..

This question really shouldn't be taken seriously, but I will anyway.

There's no way you can tell. You might get 12 year olds throwing 7's down in Park City, Utah or Breckenridge, Colorado - but come to the PNW and you'll find 12 year olds who an just about throw a 3 but slay the powder/backcountry. Also, with the increasing number of people on twins, who's to judge who is or isn't a freeskier? If by 'on average' you mean the whole skiing population, obviously, the average 'trick' will be seriously low - like a 90 degree spin or something. If, on the otherhand, you mean a freeskier - well, I don't know what makes someone a 'freeskier' or 'gaper'.

im gonna go ahead and be serious cause this is really gay and its not funny.

im 15 and i can 3 with grabs, 5, and 270 on 270 off.

yeah those are perfect for you...and to the kid who said he threw dspin 7...if that was a joke, then haha, if not...post a video.

im 15, can trow spins up to a 9, switch spins up to a 5, unnatty spins up to a 5, have done backflips and a few cork 7's. grab most of my spins. for rails, switchips both ways, 2's on and off, 4's off
