What to wear to a funeral

is the all black not what to do? ive never been to one and my best friends dad died tuesday, i had visitation today and funeral 2maro at 7. idk what to do, tie? suit? black? khackis? i really dont want to be disrespectful at all, but ive never been to one. is like khackis and a blue botton down shirt ok?

ya i forgot im gonna do a tie to, but i dont really have a suit, maybe diff pants, ya i was close he was one of my best friends i went to his house like every weekend

ill go as dark as possible, my friend is doin all black but red shirt, and my other friend might do same but with white shirt, im not sure tho. they are also good friends with him, we all went to the same high school. but as dark as i can get i think

You don't need to wear black, you can wear white too. Or whatever, it doesn't really matter what you're wearing. What matters is that you're there for your friend and his family.

it's not that big of a deal. Sometime dark blues/purples might work. Some priest told me priests can wear blue/purple stuff, and sometimes pink(not hot pink) or white.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

just dress up,you dont have to be dressy at all.my brothers and i wore khakis and a dress shirt to my grandfathers funeral and we were all extremely close to him.

 
ask your friend. some funerals people are pretty casual and wear a button up shirt and slacks, and some people wear all black suits. i think the all black is the more respectful thing to do, but check with your friend to make sure you aren't the only one dressed that way.

k i was overdressed for like my age group, i wore grey suit pants, dark red shirt, and tie to go with. didnt wear the suit jakcet tho and good thing. but it was very respectable
