What to spend on?

I've got a pretty big dilemma and im lookin for opinions. So to start out, I dont end up working much in the winter because of where i work, its mostly summer. now ive saved up enough money for 2 things 1. Go to a ski camp next summer. 2. Buy a perfect condition 1980 chevy El Camino. If i bought the car I'd have little to no money left, if i go to ski camp i wont have enough for the car. now ive been wanting to go to ski camp for a while now even though i havent chose what one, but after driving the El Camino a few times, im in love with it.

Whats all your 2 cents?
 
I would go with the car, ski camp is only a week where you will be tossin high school bitches in the back of the el for at least 8 years. Cause honestly, high school tail love el caminos
 
save it, chances are, in a few months something else will catch your eye, or take a specials somoene on an adventure to a different countrie and make memories that will last a lifetime
 
listen to be honest both are poor choices...in my opinion. so take that for what it is.

If I were you I could think of a million different things to do with 7 g's. You could easily buy a shitty 1g car and a 1g whole new setup and have a sweet winter adventure, driving from place to place and couch surfing and skiing like crazy.

You could buy a 5g RV like a toyota dolphin and car camp in Mt. Baker's parking lot, moving your whip so they can plow. + season pass + whole winter = a story you can tell your kids.

you can save it and have money for when you are broke. people underestimate this one.

take all 7 g's and make friends in 7 different places and go on 7 awesome 1 week skiing vacations.

I dunno man, I honestly feel like that would be a waste of money, ski camp or an 80 camino. I don't know you though so I won't deride you, different stokes for different folks. Its just that, as far as bang for your buck there is a lot you can do better than an 80 camino or 1 week up on a snow cone in the summer.

 
ya that is true, thing is im 16 so i wont much be driving to the mountains, my parents wont let me, and i have already bought my seasons pass to the local hill. ive definitely considered saving it, these are just the two things as in "if i had to spend it, whoch of these 2". and its a fully refurbished car, with a brand new V8. its a tough choice.

and i got no mullet haha
 
Anybody I know who got a nice car for their first car wrecked it. Get a beater car, spend some of it on other fun stuff and put the rest in a high interest bank account or something.
 
Buy a cheaper car so you can afford both ski camp and a car. i bought a 1999 jeep grand cheromee for 3800 lasted three years just sold it last month for about 3200 so over all got money back. but yeah there is no reason you can't have both hombre... and oddly enough my choices of cars was an el camino and the jeep hahahah el caminos are sick as fuck but go for a cheap suv for the mountains and such more people can fit in better bake sessions and theyre safer.

but if it was me, i would go to ski camp(if you already have a car) cause if not a fan of car(im going to buy an echo lolz).

just go with the thing you love:ski or car
