Ive been skiing for 8 years, racing for 4 looking at finally getting into twin tip skiing. I'm a midwest skiier so mainly groomers/ice and wanting to get into park. What would work well for that? Any advice would be great.

hm, maybe a good ski for getting into park would be the addicts by fischer, they would be good id say, then later you can get new ones

Those are good

Anthems if you want a softer ski

Moment Reno Jibs are a bit stiffer but would be good too

There are really endless possibilities.

I was in your position 2 years ago. My first pair of twin tips were the K2 Public Enemy's (there now called the Extremes but there the same ski with different graphics.) There stiff and have a pretty aggressive side cut so they behave like race skis and there wide enough for the occasional powder day. I would really recommend them as they are a good gateway between a racer and a jibber as they are extremely versatile and their durability is amazing.

Hope this helped

hahahahahahah jk sorry dude, just having a little fun. ill read you post and get back to you about what skis you should consider

so idk if you could tell us weather or not you like your skis on the softer side, but that woul be great if you could!as said before: anthems for soft, moment reno jibs if you like it hard (no pun intended)
or you could try the reno rocker if you felt up to trying something new, but you need to be at least like 5' 9" for the rockers, and proabley 130 pounds min?just a guess
post you weight and hieght too.

i bet thats next years armada jacket, and it looks like its in 4xl too! wow i could never pull it off like that

Alright I'm 6'0 and 240. I definetly like a stiffer ski. Hopefully that helps a bit. Any suggestions from the Line catalog? I started out on line about 8 years ago.

You are a giant, and line seems to make skis on the softer side of things. Some kid said rockers...I would not recomend those for a first twintip, the change to twintips is big enough.
The older brands come to mind when I think of a stiff ski, and when I think of a beginner ski, I think of the Fugative (now Extremes) made by K2. I would look into those in the longest size possible, because with your height and racing background, coupled with the closer-to-center mount, you will need a longer ski.

i second the fisher addicts, especially w/ your size, and i know it sounds long being from the midwest and racing, but i would definately get something over 180cm.

i was going to say the same thing, theres a shop that has last years additct pros, such a dope topsheet and they are like 370 bucks, if i had the cash i would cop those sooo fast.

and the AP's last for-ev-er

best all around ski ive ridden, get those, i was a racer to so they got a kinda stiffer race-ish feel to them, they can still haul ass on the groomed shit and put out nice rooster tails so your racer friends behind you eat snow literally :D

If you want line, I dont think any of there park skis are that stiff, the sir francis bacon which is more backcountry but is ok in the park but pretty wide is stiffer and so is the mothership but that to is backcountry. Maybe look at some volkl's I think they can be stiffer.
