Couple weeks ago I was skiing at my home hill, Loch Lomond, in Thunder Bay Ontario (shit ass junk heap). I was riding with my gf, her bro, and a few of my friends. Her bro didn't make it on the chair so he waited at the bottom. When I got down he'd been there longer than anyone else and was standing in the middle of the line so I went in line with him. (pre knowledge: 4 years ago I was a patroller and got kicked off because aparently it was unsafe to hit jumps if you're a patroller and obviously I wasn't about to stop hitting the park up). So, one of these faggot patrollers that I hate says go to the back of the line, meanwhile tons of other people were ACTUALLY budding in line and he clearly singled me out. I told him he knew the kid had been there and to leave us alone. He persisted, so I told him to suck my dick, fuck off, and be a fag somewhere else. (more pre knowledge: we always fix our own jumps, 'we' being the regulars at the hill) He wasn't gonna let up so I said fuck it to myself, and walked to the lift hut, grabbed a shovel and thought I'd fix the angles on the jump. I built it up a solid foot and a half and was about to start angling and chopping the landing. At this time he went and told on my swearing to the manager. Not only was I not on the clock, but I didn't have the hill jacket on or anything so I was fine to swear all I want really. The manager, a long haired greasy looking hick wanting to be a gremlin, walks up to me and says you dont fix jumps without permission and you dont tell this guy to fuck off, you're fired. Everyone bitched at him, but he threatened to take their passes if they didn't shut up.
Two days later. I wasn't gonna pay 35 bucks to ride the normal chairs, so I bought a 'bunny' ticket for 10 bucks. Then rode one big chair, and aparently they were watching me for a while, cause as soon as I did that, they came out, ripped my ticket and banned me.
Two days later, I have a better park built in my own backyard. A snowmobile tow-in to a 13foot quarter pipe, then after you come down you can hit a 4 foot booter or a 10 foot gap to 13 foot flat rail.
Moral of the story is, if your hill is gay and doesn't support snowboarding or freeskiing's needs/wants, then make your own shit.
PS Im still bitter about the whole getting fired thing if you cant tell, I just wanted to rant, I totally understand the banned thing though, I deserved that, ha.
