What to do in the big sky area in the summer

There's lift-accessed and XC mountain biking if you're into that. There's also a lot of things to do on the Gallatin river-whitewater rafting/kayaking, fly fishing, or bridge jumping (greenish bridge about 1/3 of the way down the canyon). There's also a lot of really cool places to go hiking, so there isn't any reason to be bored around Big Sky!

Ramcharger is open. I haven't ridden it yet becausse I've been in Kellogg all summer, but I hear the NORBA track is pretty good. I'll probably ride up there a couple times this fall if I can and see if they learned how to build bike trails up there yet.

the green bridge is always a good time. its about 5 miles from the big sky turnoff, at the deer creek trail head. i havent actually jumped it this year, but i was fly fishing on the river last night and the water temperature is getting real nice

Jump into the center of the river, off to the sides is shallower. Jumping from the top is maybe 20 feet if I remember right, but probably a little less.

15 to 20 sounds about right.you just jump into the fastet part of th current- its easy to see where to jump. i wouldnt dive, but other than that you'll be fine.
