What to do if a teacher outright refuses to teach you...???

today, one of my teachers told us we have a huge test tomorrow(1 day notice) and refused to teach us how to do the material because "we should know how to do it from last year" but no one does... i go to private school... what should i do????
 
we did but she was like... you should know this... we havent learned anything all year... in fact this is only the second day all year we havent watched a movie

It is not unfair if you and all your classmates are in the same situation. Infact, it is completly reasonable...and if everyone does bad, then your bad grade is normalized by everyone elses bad grade.

Teachers use tests to find out what knowledge their students are lacking, if he/she feels that this is important info that you should know, maybe a test is the only way to find out...

just go up to him after class or something, and tell them that you dont remember the material from last year, and you wanted to know if he or she could review it with you. and mention that alot of other people dont understand it as well
 
Talk to the Dean, you have Deans at private school right? Talk to the Dean, Head Master, Principal, whatever, tell them about it and get others to go with you.
 
It is called class assement, and is REQUIRED by most school's for etachers to do. How else do they evaluate what knowledge their students have reatined from the previous semester??

just fake sick tom...call a friend in the class tom night find out what the test was on study ur ass off tom night then ace the shit the next day and throw it in his face!!
 
dont worry about it its probly just the stupidest test ever!!! ( 2+4=6) stuff like that ...man i cant stand people who are right crazy about school OMG A TEST HOLY FUCK.. its not likr you would have studyied anyway...
 
ooo and read the directions to a teacher i had in high school did that to us said we had a 200 question test would be fairly easy but we couldnt know the subject material...then when he passed it out it had 2 pages of pointless directions....

one of the last directions was if you just write your name and date in said format on the top without n e answers filled in u will recieve an A...fuckin half the class filled every question in good shit right there
 
hahahah that happens all the time at my school cus my school fucking sucks and all the teachers think they are soooo good at teaching and are all smart asses and get extremly but hurt if you prove them wrong to the point where they'll hold a grudge on you for a like a month

ecspecialy my bitch of a history teacher who thinks she can get away with wearing short ass skirts then sitting on bar stools in front of the class with her legs spread open when she weighs atleast 300 pounds

theres not much you can do thats why school is so fucked up

 
Actually, it happens in my town. We have three high schools, and every once in a while there will be a class only offered at one of the schools, so students from different schools go to that school for one class.

Oh, and like everyone else said, talk to the principal, get some help from her for review, and study your ass off. It's probably just a scare tactic anyway. She'll let you fail the test, but then it won't count towards your grade or anything.
 
Convince the whole class to refuse to take it or fail. It happened once in my physics class not cause we all agreed to but since no one knew anything. The highest grade was a 64.
 
take it to the top man. we had a teacher like that recently, the test were totally bogas, shit just like that. he was on the knifes edge to getting fired. now were pretty much all garenteed As

profs dont give a shit who your are, what you know and, whether or not you know the material
 
go to the principal and bitch bitch bitch and or suck it up read a book and learn yourself
 
that same exact thing happened in our school before our math exam. teacher wouldn't answer questions because "we should know it already" even though she didnt talk about it all year. Try going to another teacher if u need the help that bad
 
hmm, just think of it like completely forgeting you had a test then walking into class and being completely screwed. happens to me all the time
