What to do for a Rail Jam

Hello Newschoolers,

The business that I am working at is wanting to do a rail jam in front of their building. I have a few questions, like what the setup should be, it is in southern New Hampshire so we do have snow but can only fit two features. What should we use for judging, how to score people. Lastly how do we get the hype around to people so that they actually show up?

Post your suggestion s below

Last jam I was in, I caught a look at the score sheet; it had everyones numbers and just check-marks and stars next to them. I'm assuming that bigger tricks earn stars and lesser earns a checkmark, and probably a star is worth 2 or 3 checks. Most marks wins.

Id put in a fairly easy feature but one that has tons of possibilities. An easier feature will attract some of the skiiers that aren't very good, but provide the better skiiers with something to jam the hell out of. Then maybe put in another feature that's a little more of a challenge to make it fun and interesting. I would definitely do it, fuck "credibility"
