What time does your ski hill close?

I've been saying for years how BS these 4pm closures are. I recall the last time I was an Snowmass years ago, they shut that bitch down at 3:30.

midwest kids will never really know how lucky they are to have those nights with quick access short lifts and rope tows. These are the tools essential to become an excellent terrain park skier.

honestly even at the most well thought out parks here in Colorado, you are lucky to get 5 runs in an hour, more likely 3 most places, o yea and it closes at 4!

yeah that’s why I am stoked on night skiing. Skibowl is usually open till 10pm. More places should put up lights

9 i think

My hill closes at 9 and I don’t think I would ski if it closed at 3:30-4:00 like resorts out west. I usually don’t get out on the hill till like 2 or 3

i think Sundance resort nearby is open till about 9, but Brighton is definitely the best night-riding in the area. Haven't been up north but know they have some too in UT. Would be fun to go check out. Resorts feel pretty busy this season and it would be nice to have the place to yourself for a few hours with friends or by yourself.

First chair crew here. I live getting to the hill when ski patrol is getting there.

Mine used to close at 10 everyday which was dope but now it’s only until 9 Thursday-Saturday and until 6 the other days. I was pissed when they changed it this year, not quite as easy to go up after school now

Thats why all these Scandinavian skiers are so good, because they're born in the darkness, molded by it. You merely adopted the dark.

December skiing is pretty much only in darkness under lights here in Finland. Local resort open anywhere from 10 to 8pm depending on the day and week.

Mtn opens at 8:30 on weekends, 9 on weekdays, saturdays season pass holders get lift access to 3 or 4 lifts at 7:30, mtn closes at 10 everday, and our top to bottom park serviced by an express lift closes at 9

10 pm (except right now because of a curfew). There used to be a ski night every month at one of the local hills where they were open until 1 am or something.

PC is 9-4, they used to be open til 9 up until 2012 and they changed it to 8, then a couple years later 7, then when vail took over they changed it to 6 one year and then finally down to 4. Night skiing isnt that popular for tourists, so most western resorts save money by having only one shift of lifties and catering to tourism.

I just got back from Steamboat and they had night skiing from 5:30-8:30 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They also have a very lappable park open at night with a super diverse and interesting rail setup. I was very impressed with the work the park crew put in.

Oh what I would give for the 4:30 pm closure where I am to be a 3 am closure. That’s so rad!
