man i pick up my friends at 4:30 then we drive to the train station, get our shit together and the train leaves at 5.17 every single saturday... at 7.30 we get off in the middle of nowhere and get an another one... then the train gets to the ressort village at 8.30 if its not late, then 30 minutes bus drive and be there right on time at 9.
the benefit of the train is: it costs 5 bucks both ways and its full of skibums like us and you can drink
ussually whenver the ride I'm bumming leaves which is often the afternoon which sucks.. It's about a 10 minute drive and about a 40 minute bike ride with all ski gear, depending on road conditions.

its called not being a pussy and just getting up. by the time you are at the mountain you don't even notice the pounding headache. its fucking skiing man.
everyone lives so far away! i feel bad... come live with me... it takes me bout 15 mins to get to alta from my house. so i go up in between my classes n shit haha
I usually just go whenever I wake up, so between 10 and 11 (unless we got alot of snow, then I'll force myself to get up earlier). It's a 3-5 minute drive for me.
Up at 830, leave at 850, there at 9 when the hill opens. I too can go ski for an hour if im bored. My hill is like an 8th the size of any moderate hill tho. Still my home away from home, gotta love LPT.
If I'm going to VT I wake up and leave around 2am and get there around 8 or 9 for the opening. I'll ski till 4 or so and head home to arrive back around 11pm. I usually do this a couple times a year cause PASKIINGSUCKS. I am proud of the fact that we get from below allentown to rutland in about 5+ hours barring any authority interaction.
If we're skiing in PA we usually leave around 6 or 7 am.
