What the kkkkkk?

global warming is the average globable temp rising like 1 or 2 degrees. so how does that relate to the US (mainly the east coast) having +30 or 40 degrees?
 
Temperature differences of only a few degrees can change the intensity of a storm by alot, just look at the past hurricane season. One factor of that record breaking season had to do with warmer ocean and air temps in the Atlantic closer to Africa where many of those storms form. There are way to many factors that have to do with global warming to summarize them in a newschoolers post, and you'd probably be better off researching the subject, and its future affect on snow levels, through reputable resources online. National Geographic has a good article right now on the European Alps and the affect that Global Warming is having on them, and it will help you understand some of the things the rest of the world is going through. Another area of concern in relation to global warming and skiing right now is the Pacific Northwest (Whistler, Mt. Hood, etc...) because the NW is a very temperate climate and many resorts are not at the altitudes of resorts in Utah or Colorado. Last season the Northwest received less the 3% of its average snowpack... Had it not been for late spring rains, the drought situation there would have been much more severe. This year, they just had 29 days of straight rain (mostly snow in the mountains) and resorts are having a much better season. But seriously look it up man, this could have a serious impact on the future of snowsports even within our lifetime.
