What The Hell?!? I'm Pissed!

So at school, newschoolers is like my #1 source of anything and everything. Recently, the school IT department (computer) has been blocking all these sites that they find offensive or un-needed at school. They also block sites that take up too much room/space on the school internet (i.e. gaming sites, facebook, etc).

Well today I turn on my internet at school, and the first thing that pops up is a message saying that the website i'm trying to visit is blocked (my homepage is ns). What the hell?!? Why on earth would they block newschoolers?!? Along with like 5 other people, I'm one of the only people at my school who even use newschoolers. This is really pissing me off, as now there are ONLY school related websites that I can access. I am considering dropping out of high school just so I can get my daily ns fix.

Any input?
 
search "dave proxy" on google, then u can enter www.newschoolers.com on it and it should open for you, as well as basically any other site
 
NS is probly considerd a chat room too. thats why it is blocked.. hasent blocked at my school yet.
 
Wow dude, most school have NS and other sites like it blocked. Little desperate you are me thinks.
 
You can hardly blame them for blocking something that isn't school-related. You also might want to come up with a different reason for dropping out of school for your parents.
 
unfortunately this is a chat site with a shitload of swearing goings on. i cant believe ur school hasnt blocked it before now.

just do what i do. be 25 and look at whatever the fuck u want when u want.
 
Not blocked at my school and they are total assholes when it comes to blocking stuff. They even block images when you search them under google image search. These stopsign things appear in some of the image boxes its so fucking stupid.
 
^To all the questions up there:

- I have and use a laptop

- If I go on ns when I'm at home, then bring it to school, it just doesn't work anymore

- If I go to google and search it and cache or whatnot it doesn't work. Also they somehow do it so that some sites they block don't show up on google

- And sorry bro, but dave proxy is real old. We've gon through like 70 different proxy servers, and they block each and every one of em one by one until there aren't anymore. I'm currently using maxiproxy.com
 
use "getoffme.org" it will get you passed all of the school security and all the other shit that blockes stuff but serch it on google or they will find it
 
wats up dude... we get this problem at school a lot and theres a simple way around it...

1. get firefox (if you havent already), it makes this easier

2. go to: http://www.samair.ru/proxy/

3. browse the pages until you find a proxy close to you

4. get the ip address (ex: 67.85.113.53:7212) of that proxy and copy it to your clipboard (ctrl + c)

6. in firefox go to Tools...Options...General (tab)... Connection Settings (button)

7. select manual configure proxy

8. paste that IP into the top box

9. take all the numbers after that the colin and paste them into the other box, delete the colin (ex: Port: 7212)

10. check use this proxy server for all protocols

11. hit ok, and ok again

12. browse newschoolers and anything you want on the web

13. go tell your school's tech guy to suck a dick

 
what i used to do is go to bable fish translatrion and type in www.newscshoolers.com and translate it from spanish to english in the translate a webpage thing and then ns will come up. but i think you have to do newschoolers.com/... i tihkn it needs the slash and then forums or something kapeesh?
 
you could just not use newschoolers while you're at school. save that shit for home. i don't know, maybe i'm crazy.
 
my school still hasnt blocked it, but the comp at my work (mcdonalds) has like everything blocked so whne im on break thers nuthin to do except get fat

 
u can get around some blocked sites but typing in https.

at my school meebo (which is AIM on the internet so u dont ahve to download) is blocked, so i can type in https://meebo.com and i can get access to it
