so empire has been having their riders rep bandanas, pass out stickers, and promote the company. yet their site still isnt up. is there an explanation?

haha i know its terrable business ethic, but if that was the case i might actually respect them more.

that is one of the dumbest things i have read in a while. There is no rational point to the question. Why is it necessary? If your going to ask that, they why start a business?

Environmental scanning is the process that identifies factors that effect marketing success. Promotion is a part of this. And yeah, you guessed it, technology is a factor. I am not going to explain in detail because it is a waste of time, basically you use computers to use the internet to a) promote you product, b)advertise your product, c) do all the fancy things to make it stand out, etc... and eventually you sell your product.

You gain everything from promoting online, and lose nothing. Win-Win to me.

website is pretty important..

a logical intention would be for the company to give out free merchandise, kids get stoked on it, then they visit the website and purchase products.

without the website, there is a link missing in the chain

(not to mention that the website would no-doubt be one of the more important distribution channels for the product)

Given that you know who Empire is, it probably doesn't matter, but for the average kid out there that gets a sticker, bandanna etc and wants to know more - they really can't - as there is nowhere to gain information about it.

maybe he wants to keep the website down for a while to bring all this hype and make us want to see it more!

idk haha

Dude what the hell. First off why are you shitting on legit question? Maybee if you weren't so busy looking for a way to shoot somebody down and go on about how you're really smart you would have realised that you didn't even explain why it's a stupid question. He asked why it's necessary. he didn't ask why they should.

And on a side note you do lose money from a website. Money to hire somebody to make it (cause I don't think simon dumont is all that skilled with HTML) and money to keep it on the web

^Simon said he wants to start out with gloves and stuff. Bandannas, t-shirts and probably other accessories are in the mix I'm guessing.

it was up, but only to get opinions and shit about it. itll be up soon and when it does, its so itll be sickest for you guys.
