What the heck? last years invaders?

hi. i just got last years invaders.the ones with el invader the wrestler on them. and mine have a yellow base. but today i noticed someone in a video had my same skis, but with a pink base. what is going on? did i get fake skis? haha please help thanks. +karma
 
no you didnt my freind haad som junior invaders and he kept ripping the biindings out of them so he got a deal froma rep and got a larger size and the bases where a dif colors so i think your all good
 
people always ask this about line. basically when you put graphics on a ski, you have the graphic and then the negative of the graphic. in order to avoid wasting it, line makes half their skis with one graphic and half with the opposite color. in this situation it may not apply but half the prophet 100's were made with black bases, the other half yellow, same with this years bacons, half black, half white. same skis
 
na there the same ski, i think it might be a size difference kinda like what 4frnt and armada do with some of there models....i got a pair of 171 invaders and they are pink underneath. oh and theres also the possibility your may be mini's....just a couple of ideas. but no worries man there still line invaders
 
perfect 10. that exactly what they do. the bases are die cut, so when they cut out a yellow "line", they have the rest of it that they smack a pink "line" in it so they do not waste the material. they do this on almost all models. my chronics have the orangy bases and ive seen them with the red bases and orange line loge
 
i didnt think they did that. im pretty sure the skis with the same serial number have the same color base. thats unless they find a shop with both colors in the same size and pick one of each, but technically, the skis should have the same base colors if they have the same serial number
